Im putting them as a top stanley cup contender, the 1-2 lines are gonna put up amazing numbers, if we had more defensive talent then it would be a lock... offensively number 1 or 2 team in the league i think....

there have been alot more changes besides crosby, malone lemieux and palffy are one of the most dangerous lines in the NHL. with crosby learning from lemiux and playing next to recchi and leclair....... that line could be one fot he best also. on defense we should have a good PP unit with gonchar able to be a real threat from the blue line, thibault is so underrated and even if he proves unreliable we have the 2003 first round draft pick fleury. the new game favors a team so offensively stacked as the penguins... not to mention we are still way under the cap and we can end up picking up quite a few other gems.......so before u go and insult us.... why dont u learn a thing or two about hockey and the new penguins.
 
There's only one thing that I can believe when it comes to hockey. The Leafes will choke. Somehow...some way...they'll blow it like a new porn star.

Dude, leaf fans are aware that we havent seen silver in 30 plus years, but we are in no way as bad as the pens. we're easily one of the top three eastern teams.

Jersey...eh, they seem to be losin there edge over the years. Now they have back broken mogilny, nice and abused, straight from the leafs...hopefully they do aight.

Philly? Fuck that, they never have good luck with goaltending. In addition, they are a powerhouse team...which is basically useless now with the new rules.

That's why Philly picked up Forsberg and Hatcher. Also Chris Therien is back. Esche is meh for a goalie but that new kid from the Phantoms may be a phenom.

forsberg, alright, i cant argue with that one. Whether or not the guy is actually gonna play or play like he did with the diqs or the aves is questionable. Hatcher and Therien? Goons. Fuck em too.

I didn't see the commercial but I doubt hockey will ever be first tier. It'll always get the same ratings as tennis and golf.

It was really well done

and she looks good which is important when you're concerned with audience awareness
so you got a hot thinly glad nubile and a hockey mask clasped barborous "killer"
and she answers with a "shake" "wow hockeys's back how cool"
I thought it was well done
 
Time for me to deal out a few reality checks:

The Penguins have improved leaps and bounds, but there's no way in hell they're gonna be anywhere near #1 or #2. They have a shaky blueline corps, which will be exploited even more now with the rule changes. They will make the playoffs though.

As for you Leafs fans, you will need an act of God to make the playoffs this year. Philly, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Montreal, and Boston are all significantly better than the leafs. In the next tier, you've got New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and the much improved New York Islanders. Atlanta has turned it up several notches too, and if they sign Kovalchuk, they're better than the Leafs by a fair margin too. Look on the bright side though, not making the playoffs guarantees there will be no 'choke' to worry about.
