Why's this so sick?
This happens all the time because people are stupid and careless. Every teen driver should watch this so they know that driving is a serious responsibility and screwing around behind the wheel can cause this and has caused this thousands of times.
My neighbor was killed at 17 years old because his buddy was driving irresponsibly.
Have you ever seen a child in a casket? I have a couple times and there's nothing more painful than seeing that.

The first things that came to my mind:
1. How did they get a child to stay still that long. I mean the eyes don't move.
2. How did they pin point those pupils?
'Cause that shit looked much more real then I thought it could've. Not like the movies, where the eyes are either closed or if they are open they are rolled away.

i'd definitely snap for awhile. Obviously I would never be the same, but I think I could function again someday. It would just take a very long time to get there.

I'm thankful to never have had a call on one quite that young, i'm pretty sure that's shit you never forget.
the baby's eyes did actually move a touch to the side and pinpoint is easy, tons of light which a small child would look at.

I saw a teenager purple from the nipple up because he was under a car that had rolled. Best part..his buddies didnt want to get caught so they tried lifting the car off of him ..he was still moving and talking at that point. They dropped the car and he stopped.
then they waited twenty or so minutes...then called 911 and hid in the woods.
That video wasnt too gory..kinda reminded me of the safe graduation simulations we used to do for the high school.

As for the blood, I thought it was pretty well representative of a real life wreck of this severity. No ejection or VTP impacts, just a shitload of slamming around and fucking your C spine and skull
Worst I have seen personally, as far as chill-you-to-the-bone- factor goes, was a drowning call of a 3 year old that had hand-print bruises on her back from obvious abuse. Somehow drowned in a kiddie pool with 10 inches of water while her drunked stepdad 'was using the bathroom real quick'
Almost lost my job over that one.

my previous post, maybe its a cultural difference but urgency is missing in the video....mass casualty scenes are usually almost total chaos..people get loud..more order barking..more constant commotion. I also kind of thought...wow, two birds huh? That would never happen here; getting two birds to one scene would be an impossibility.
And the babies eyes, I guess I worded it wrong. There is a slight bounce at the very begining of the baby's eye, its small but there. And what I meant was normally their eyes just sort of roll off to the sides or whatever direction gravity takes them. That said I have absolutely never seen a baby in a car seat die in a wreck. Ever. The toddler in the video crying for mommy and daddy to wake up hit me a little harder because I HAVE seen that. It always kind of fucked with me how the little guys can be hurt (minor/major doesn't matter) and theyre always concerned for thier parents.
I've had to transport kids car seat and all (best backboard for a small fry) with their parents in the back of the ambulance just to keep everyone calm and within sight of each other. Plus to not have a child services nightmare on the side of the road.
UK tv is a lot harsher than our nice little USA bubble and I don't think its a bad thing.

The worst thing I've ever seen was an infant whose head was completely caved in by the family pit bull. Or maybe it was the teenager with deep tissue burns to 99% of his body from a gas leak explosion....
Forgot about that guy, he's in the running too. I had a marine with PTSD a few yrs back too that tried to off himself with a shotgun to the head but missed his brain and blew his face completely off. That dude was fucking ugly
yeah I had a guy in a similar call. Failed suicide by shotgun. Dude with PTSD is about to call it quits when his mom walks in, tries to wrestle the gun away from him, so he sticks it to his chest and reaches out to push the trigger, takes a bad angle in doing so and hit himself in the left nipple at an out going angle.
Took his whole left lung out through his rib cage. We could see his heart beating in the chest cavity lol...had to pick up pieces of ribcage off the floor. Pretty fucked up. My partner improvised a 3 sided dressing from a fucking plastic bag lol
Bird came and got him and he somehow survived. Heard he died in a car wreck like a year later...
Jeebus. I couldn't imagine seeing that sort of thing on a regular enough basis to just brush it off. Shit would fuck me up. Maybe it does to you too.
