We finally got the little one baptized on the weekend 
She's almost a year old and we just got around to it..lol..I think my Nonna is probably looking down on us saying "It's about time"
The day went very well, and she was an absolute angel the whole time, but really she's an angel all the time. She didn't even wake up when the holy water was poured on her head.
Party afterwards at the house. Everyone had a great time and it was cute to see the look of my husband's family's faces when they saw the amount of food being served for lunch. We Italians take for granted what gluttons we can be when it comes to celebrations..lol. When I asked my husband's Uncle if he was ready for lunch, he looked at me like I was crazy..lol..he had been eating the Hor'deuvres.
I have enough lasagna and chicken to last a month, not to mention cake. If anyone likes Italian food and layers of fresh strawberries and cream, and you are in the Toronto area, stop by for lunch
