it would depend on the freitcake itself. some dried up brick from kroger's.......all the jack daniel's in tennessee won't save that.
but,a mid- western, german, hand made fruitcake....ahhhhh....moist, full of assorted fruit and hand shelled fresh pecans, not over- baked or dried out, a delicate glaze on top.... god, how i miss my grandmother's cooking!!
