O.K. My buddy is just getting back into the gym a month ago. He isn't juicing at the moment. He's been out of the gym for a few years now. He developed a drug problem and it kept him out of the gym, He's clean now and ready to get his Physique Back in line He has Cycled in the past 3, I believe. We was up to 220 at one time, He is now down to 168lbs with ?bf% He has Lovehandles and a belly. Not too big but you can tell when his shirt is raised. Anyway, He is training 6 days a week. I've got him on a diet of around 2000 cal, 40 Fat, 175 Protein, 180 carbs. Now I realize that his Carbs are a little high and I plan on bringing them down for him as I am keeping him a FitDay Log along W/ mine. He is Training W/ Me also. He's been a best friend of mine for 14 years now, so I really want to help him out the best I can. He Will be Starting A cycle on Fri. With Me. i WILL hAVE HIM ON Prop 100mgs EOD, Then a week later I will start him on Test E 500mgs per week, Then the following Week I will start him on EQ. He will be running a 16 week Cycle along side of me. Now my questions are just that givin all of this Info, Can you Bros make any suggestions for the Guy? Also Is this Diet alright for him to stay on?? He wants to lose his fat but still make good gains, Similar to what I'm doing. I just am in a different situation from him so I want to help him accoplish his goals and get his confidence back because a nasty Heroin Addiction for a few years and catching his Fiance' In bed W/ His own Brother Really Fucked this Bro up ya know... So Can you help me help him???

Suggestions?

Yeah, keep him clean. Without having trained for so long, he'll make great gains without gear. What is with you? Is he afraid of a little hard work. Gear shouldn't be the answer to everyone trying to get in shape. Its a tool to be utilized once one has established a formible base and come close to exausting their natural genetic limits.

Gear for a guy who hasn't trained in years? No way. Eat clean, Eat Large, Eat often and Train hard.

My opinion would be Cut some carbs, Stay off juice for a little while and have him focus on fat burning first.

Then:
Cardio, sweat, and diet and not to forget the most under-talked about subject here mindset. Focus on your goals, hype yourself up knowing that you WILL achieve them if you want to (Anyone can) and discipline yourself in your head to achieve them and finally most important NEVER give-up learn from your mistakes and drive on like a hero from your new gained knowledge. Hop on an elliptical machine ed or eod for 30 minutes for a month and eat right measure and see your results that should be motivating for you to keep going. low fat high protien and screw Atkins you need some clean Carbs (But keep them under control) to get you going in the a.m and through your day. Drink lots of water while you are working out to keep hydrated and increase your vitamin C, take B6 and B12, take a multi-vitamin and flaxseed oil. Stay away from beer, nachos and finally television, video games, or any other lounge chair sports.

You will feel better, gain more confidence and most of all it is good for you!! Good luck and kick some ass!

And Oh yeah! Keep telling him "Keep going back, It works if you work it!" he will know what I mean!!

Excellent advice bro….. I totally agree. Gear and emotional instability do not mix!!!

I totally agree, if he has been out of the gym for some time now, going back all
of a sudden and beginning regular training will produce results. If you are determined to use AAS, wait for a while until his gains and results appear to
plateau.
Lots of protein, complex carbs and water and he should be growing like a weed. Keep diet clean and bodyfat will come off too.

help him build his physique into something truly amazing bro...then mabe start thinking about gear.

Shit, if I had to do it all over again, I would have waited 1 more year to do gear.. I started at 21, but I still had a good bit of gains to be made had I just hopped on an AI...

Please don't push gear onto this guy.. It's very important for him to see improvements without AAS first so that he doesn't think that he is unable to do it without AAS. The biggest initial stepping stone in bodybuilding is the confidence that your determination is the ultimate key to succeeding, not how much tren you can shoot in your glutes in a given week..

Also, since he is a recovering H addict it is not good for him to see needles and people injecting: It may give him what is called Euphoric Recall and set him off again.
