hitting a glute nerve or vein out of 10

out of 10 whats the chance of hitting a nerve or vein ,i got a severe pain once as my brother injected way too low ,and i jumped like hell

i always inject in the upper outer by myself and i inject it way out on the glute as it goes in really good

In 19 years I have hit one vein. I would estimate I did 500+ injections in that time.

I think there is a 15% chance of hitting a vein in the upper outer area of the ass. I dont know about nerves, if it feels weird pull it out and pick a new area.

i hit little nerves all the time in my glutes. it is the big ones you have to worry about. only hit those a time or two.

The sciatic nerve is the major nerve running down both legs...You do NOT want to hit this.

Make sure your glute shots are on the side and NOT toward the back of the buttock.

Yup...just stay in the middle of the dimple.

and make sure to aspirate.(pull back on plunger to make sure you are not in vein)

You know, I was in the ER a couple weeks ago and got a shot in my ass. The nurse stuck me at about the very upper-left most corner of the rectangle in the glute pic at spotinjections - Click Glute I thought it seemed a little high compared to where I had injected in my cycle, but it was absolutely painless and there is alot of meat right where the inject was.

Any thoughts? Should I copy the nurse or hit lower and more outer? BTW, the inject on the spotinjections site looks pretty dern low to me...

I like to change-up locations. I have done the glutes once. I like the calves better. Triceps work for me too. I never have had anyone stick me. . but that might change soon. Think of getting on another cycle.

I went through a vein one time & blood came gushing out after I pulled the needle out. I nearly ruined my girlfriends new white bath mats. Just go in slow & if it hurts or doesn't feel right, start over. I've had to restick 3 times before I found a non painful spot but, that was when I first started.

Did the nurse ask what all the other pin-sized holes on your ass was from?

i hit a nerve in my glute one time and the blood just starting gushing i felt the needle get stuck but i forced it in anyway like a dumbass, the blood was gushing but i never passed out or anything .
