Hired a trainer

Sort of. Hired a guy to work with me one day every two weeks. Every two weeks he'll kick my ass for 60-90 minutes and break down my diet and workout routine. We'll also do a complete set of measurements. I need someone to kick my ass and keep my accountable for what I do or don't do. I think this will help. Having my husband call me fat or threaten me just ain't cutting it since I know he could neber bring himself to leave me. Ha ha.

First off, props to you. Second, you could of posted a workout / diet log here and we could critique it. Alot of the chicks in the Women's Workout forum are doing that right now.

Wow. You mean the "hey fattie", isn't inspiring? I've got to change my strategy. :worried:

Been to the women's board and posted diet log and proposed workout before. Like the critique-didn't do much for motovation though. Sorry guys...

Nope, "hey fattie" just ain't doing it for me. Can't imagine why :evil: Of course, the insistence on all lights being out before I undress isn't exaclty what I would call subtle. Or the Wide Load flags that he sewed on to the ass of my jeans. ;)

Good for you!

While I think that EF can really supplement in ways that a trainer can't, nothing can replace having someone there in person who's only job is to make sure you don't slack.

I have a training partner, without one, I don't know what the hell I'd do. When I go on my own I lift less weight and end up doing far less volume, its scary actually.

don't you keep a log of how much you lift and have a plan to reach your goals? The training partner is only there to save my ass when I can't lift as much as I think I can.

I also enlisted my best friend as my new gym partner. I've been told 1,000 times that a partner makes all the difference. But I'm worried that she won't push me hard enough.

A partner can bring you up OR down. Be careful. What's wrong with a log and a plan to increase your lifts?

I have nothing. I haven't even started lifted yet. FIrst day is Tuesday. He'll keep track of everything for me, which is good cuz I've never been able to keep up on gym tracking sheets.

A pocket book too tedious for you? Just buy a small notebook or a PDA to do it for you.
