I usually eat whatever I want on Sunday (within reason.) It helps keep me sane, and I just call it a "carb up" day, since I keep my carbs 50-60g daily on regular days. Should I be sticking to carbs that are low GI even on the carb up day? Obviously I stay away from sweets and crap, but should I not eat pasta/potatoes/rice either? I should mention that I am getting good results now, dropping about a half pound to a pound a week.
I eat 2400-2500 cals with 50g carbs during the week (dieting) and I guess around 3200 cals with 200g+ carbs (carb up day)
FYI - I am in cutting phase right now, 6' 220 - never had bodyfat measured, but I still have a layer that keeps my abs hidden. I lift 4 days a week alternating upper and lower body with heavy weights. Cardio is 30 mins on the treadmill at moderate to low intensity.
