Hi, My name is Chefwide.

ChefWide

Elite Mentor

Long time no see.

I hope this post finds you all well and on a postive track. So many good souls on this board, so much to toss into the salad to make it rich.

Take a good look around you, at your friends and family, even at some of your friends here. Take the time to tell those that you care about that you DO care. Risk helping them out. Risk what you can. Share your knowledge with those around you. Share your love and live for your future, not for your past. Do everything you can to make the lives of those you love brighter for tomorrow. Really.

Heavy? nahhhh.... just looking at things with a slightly better understanding of who i am, and an understanding that i have a long way to go before i truely know what I am made of. Now is the hour that can make the difference, one bite at a time.

Dont forget to eat icecream once in a while, because our time here is finite, but more importantly, dont forget to share an icecream with someone you love.

yay welcome back :)

We forget that all to often. We all know these words Chefwide, but we forget to actually put them in motion. That's the difference between doers and dreamers. good bro.

I am starting from a place that has great promise, and a place that has proven to me that i have taken much- far too much- in my life for granted. I have caused pain where none was deserved, i have not been the man I had hoped i would be...

There is a chance to achieve peace in every future. Its right fucking there! I will spend my life that i have left trying to prove that to those that i should have long ago.

Every day is a chance to overcome. I am just barely learning that FOR REAL right now.

True, GL....

but even doers make bad decisions....

Measure a man by his actions fully, from the beginning to the end.....

Hi ChefWide. I'm Raina and I'm very glad to see you back. You've been missed.

I'm glad to hear that you've found some deeper understanding of yourself. I wish you a peaceful day. :)

Good to see you again sir.

All the best to you in the new begining.

May the sun never cease to shine on you and the stars never fail to provide wonder.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Eat Dessert First..

And I feel for those peeps that suffer thru only Chicken Breast, Tuna and Rice daily..

When you are dying, I hope you don't regret not eating a little Ice Cream and Oreo's.

Stop and watch a Sunset
Stop and enjoy just watching your Children Sleeping
Take a walk off of the pavement occasionally.

Hey just remember.. u can only regret.. the risks you dont take :)

I missed some chances in my life that would have saved those i loved great strife, i regret that, and maybe those risks i SHOULD have taken then would have exacted a greater happiness for all concerened.

Part of my point is that that the only tools I have availble to ME are those that can be used on the FUTURE- that can be used in the HERE and NOW. I cannot change the past, nor can I carry the pile of 'would have, could have, should haves' on my shoulders when so much energy must be spent to shore up TOMORROWS foundations. Responsiblity must be taken, but taken too must be the steps to change the paths that led to those failures. THAT can only be done by focusing on today and drawing on lessons learned from yesterday. The measure of true wisdom in my time will be weather i have learned enough from my past shortcomings to build a better man, an honest and responsible man, a father that sees the needs and responds to them as he wished his father had. Isnt that what we all strive for, in our own way?

I will come to a greater understanding of my potential futures by understanding my failures past. this is plain. I am hoping to exact a brighter world for those around me by doing exactly that.

Good to see you back Cheffy Smoove. :)

didn't you used to be on that Degrassi Junior High show?

Mr. Cheffy, will you be in the NoVa area anytime soon? Share some smokes with Lumberg as we dine on fine Pho in Rockville? Or do you prefer something downtown DC? I have a couple of places in mind.

Also, I will be sharing my ice cream with someone very soon on the CA coast.

Cheers!

Cool. I'm in Alexandria, VA. Right off of 395. Zatinya is my favorite place in D.C. Bistro Du Coin is second.

Then I find myself in good company. I have not tried the Bistro yet. I also like Zola's and Andale.

Damn, we could have a roving feast if we keep naming good eats downtown.

Appetizers:Zatinya
Main course: Andale
Dessert: Zola

(maybe DC Chop house as a back-up)

There's a wine bar & grill on M Street I would like to try. Chef Geoffs isn't bad. You must try Bistro Du Coin. I would recommend Les Halles, but there food and service has gone down hill.

also don't forget to wear sunscreen.

Eh......Cripsetter........I know exactly what he's dealing with. It's nothing life or death, it's just about making changes and making amends for things he could have handled better.
