Proviron doesnt block estrogen. It binds to the aromatase enzyme very strongly, thereby preventing these steroids from interacting with it and forming estrogen. It wont do anything to the estrogen naturally produced. It will only lower the amount converted by synthetic test. Proviron is an androgen and GH thrives in an androgen rich environment.

Proviron also increases the amount of circulating free test, which will again increase the androgenic environement.
