They're surprisingly roomy. I just figured that everyone in England has been in an old Mini at least once.

the new minis have tons of room. I saw one at the L.A. auto show laast year, some 6'5", 250lb guy just happen to be in line ahead of me, he fit in there comfortably with plenty of room to spare. I was surprised as hell.

The new MINI is NOTHING like an old Mini. It's twice as big and twice as heavy.

BTW, VW Nuovo Beetles also have lots of room for large drivers.
