hey serge! synovex question

hey bro i researched the syn kits on this board and seen some of your posts, maybe you can help. i went through the process fine until i added the final powder to oil, i heated and the mixture got cloudy yellow. i filtered through syringe, but it didnt seem to do any good, the solution came out the same. im left with a nice golden oil on top and a white layer on bottom. when shaken the whole solution turns an off white. any advice on what went wrong, where i failed?

my first question is, did you pompletely dry up the test powder before mixing it with oil? if yes, then its fine. If however you did not dry up test compeletly and there was some methyl alcohol left in it, upon the heating a side reaction is possible that will ruin the final product.

the test will not dissolve in oil, it stays suspended and falls to the bottom fairly fast, so it has to be shaken before its use.

my stuff has yellowish tint too, what was the color of the oil before you added test into it?

kind of like olive oil, a off yellow green. it could be i didnt let it dry good but with all the water washes would there be any methanol left? i mean this cloud on the bottom is huge and when shaken its just cloudy as hell.

ps if the test just suspends how are we going to properly filter i mean wouldnt the syrin. filt. catch a lot of test?

filtering is another issue, i dont filter mine, i just bake it. and yes you do get a huge cloud at the bottom, just shake it up and you are fine. if you did not add any methanol after washing then you are deffinetly fine. i added methanol at the end to test for estradiol left over. but your batch is fine.
