definitely canont buy a 42 inch vanity/vanity top off the shelf at a retailer. this is going to be a definite custom order
i cant decide if i should go with a 36" and (2) 3inch fillers on each side, or if i should go with 30" vanity and 12" drawer stand. the latter is more expensive by roughly $200.
I am leaning towards spending the $ on granite vanity top as opposed to a solid surface composite type.
yes it's between two walls (an alcove). I think i may just go with the 36er and the spacers instead of 30+12, mostly because you said so.stilleto said:is this fitting in between two other things? go with the 36" and the spacers.
have you priced granite? because both lowes and home depot sell their own brand of composite that looks like granite but for MUCH less.
I was only going to go with granite, but the piece i liked looked exactly like a composite that lowes had and it's for a bathroom that rarely gets used, so i went with it and it's great.
i don't remember what size the cabinets came in btw.

brilliant!stilleto said:cool.
i did have a reason for saying it- it will make your bathroom look bigger (not as choppy) and like it was meant to be there, rather than something else stuck in there to fill the space.
Plus... you can center the mirror or medicine cabinet directly over the sink since it will be right in the middle, rather than off to one side.![]()
