I checked it out bro, but I don't know anything about shirts. Sorry. :(

I don't have much experience fitting women, ect. So I'm not sure what would be best for your wife as far as poly or denim.

I use the Karin DD open back and love it. It is very different from the other poly shirts so there is no real point in moving through all of the shirts. One word of advice--the fit on the denim is everything. I would suggest ordering it with the measurements exactly as they say; don't make them too small. If they are too small, the shirt may be useless to you either because you will not be able to get it on or because it will take more weight to get it to your chest than you can handle on the lockout. As you get used to it, gradually have it taken in and tightened up to maximize its performance. You can always go smaller. You cannot go bigger.

thanks guys...... these are comments are helping out a lot.

man..i'm up and down on this issue...i've started out using a poly and jdarty6173 started out using a double-denim so its pretty much up to you and your wife at this point but i would give the double-denim a shot. what can ya lose? now, there are a couple of guys on my board who are trying the GEN II from karin. i would get one made for a 400 bench and heck, lets plan out a meet down the road and see what happens. oh and open-back is good since i can really plant my shoulders/traps better. but all in all, give the double-denim a try and then later on go with a double-poly, which is going to be my next shirt. tb
