i've been doing my damn best to try to forget about that the past few days cause i've been so busy with other stuff. thanks, thanks a whole hell of a lot for reminding me

on the plus side, my makarov has been back in my hands since Thursday morning, fixed and fully functional once again. my lawyer told me not to hold back one bit from concealed carrying either, as i still have all my rights to do so.

nope, not an FFL.

the whole process took about 45 minutes. i walked into the Sheriff's office earlier in the day and picked up the paperwork (ok, one sheet, front and back) and took it in that afternoon filled out and ready to go. they punched it all into the computer then called the state capitol and waited for confirmation. that's what took the longest. they were searching state records for ANYTHING. i'm sure if i had an outstanding parking ticket somewhere in the state i would have been denied the permit. i do not know if my honorable discharge from the marine corps in any way expidited my obtaining it or not.

easy to obtain, and just as easy to lose.
