doing fitness, gettin your body in condition is the easy part, the fitness part is a BITCH, you better have a nice gymnastics background, they all say "you don't have to do gymnastics" well, thats a lie, you do, check out any fitness routine that scores high, they all have nice tumbling and the thing is, the judges are ignorant to what "good tumbling" is. I can sit there an execute a perfect layout steput, but it doesn't look "as pretty" as changing it up and doing it totally wrong, but the judges will think it "looks prettier" that way, so you have to change up your gymnastics to appease the judges who most don't have a clue what gymnastics even is. and like on the strength moves, you do them the correct hard way and you will get scored lower than doing it the easy way, because the easy way looks "prettier" so it's a plus that the judges don't have a clue, but you can watch videos where people perform amazing technically correct very hard moves and they don't get any recognition for it, because the judges just don't know, damn, sorry, I am on a major rant and rave today

as far having trainers, well, you better have a really good one or know what to do, you can find a lot of excellent information on here, but every individual is different, and without someone looking at you and telling you from an unbiased point what needs to be done, you might have some problems. You need people around you to be honest and to slap you around once in a while to get your headstraight.

to me, the funniest part is the path to the competition, even though I won the competitions, they were a major let down, the fun part was training for them and getting all psyched up and ready for them. Just my 3/8's carbs 2 cent opionion
