I read today a story about him telling a senior class to stay in school. He said he has 4000 stores, but if he had finished school he would have 8000.

Anyways the guy did alot for getting kids adopted etc so hats off to him.

One of the few burger places that dont use in thier(Mickey D's and Burger Queen) words...hot air ovens(look like fucking microwaves to me)

I am gonna go have combo and biggie size it in his honor.
 
Like Milhouse said he did alot for kids and seemed to be a really nice guy. My cousin used to work for him in the office in Columbus and was pretty good friends with him.
 
That's a shame...RIP Mr. Dave Thomas....he did seem like a good guy.

Fuck you. Don't question my integrity. I've posted pics of my daughter before. I'm allowed to be serious when people criticize religion, family values, and other core beliefs I try to adhere to.

Most of his generation is that way-no surprise there. He did 1000x's more good than bad -and if he had those beliefs he obviously kept them mostly to himself. He was a good man.

this reminds me of bush's failure to mention canada in his now - famous speech...some idiot canadian politician (i think the federal finance minister) on live CBC TV was actually ignorant enough to say bush did it intentionally because of the lumber tax disputes canada / USA were having recently...as if bush would hold a grudge towards canada in that way in such a time of national tragedy.
