I have had two. It will hurt when you laugh, cough or sneeze for a few days afterwards. I didn't work out for 2 weeks, but then I started doing light sets with high reps (but no legs for about a month)
Prepare yourself for this, you will lose size TEMPORARILY! By the second week afterwards, I was down about 15lbs both times. But after 2 weeks of training, I was back to normal size, except the legs. But they came back pretty fast when I worked started working them.
You'll be fine, if they use the mesh material, that area will be stronger than ever!
