I'm gonna try to explain this the best i can lol.

Here's the situation. I'm doing dumbell presses, from the start of my ROM I have 0 strength getting the weight up (in my right arm). I can't even budge it. My spotter has to help me get it past a point ( probabaly a little over halfway through my ROM) once i get past that point I have no problems at all, but if i go below that point I can't move it back up. So I cannot do a full ROM while doing any type of chest excersice. This is only my right arm. My left arm No problems at all . Anything over 50lbs on my right arm i cannot bring it from my chest up.

Now there is no pain, everything feels great.

Is there something I can do to correct this problem? I have no idea what to do or what's causing it. Doctors don't even care to look into it because it doesn't hurt and it's not effecting my dad to day life.

I hope this makes sence.

Also I am right handed if this means anything

~~~~~There are doctors out there that are into lifting. You need to find one.
Something you can try while finding a doc:
Do 11/2 reps. What I mean is do a press where you go halfway up then come back down and immediately do a full rep. So you're doing 2x the amount on the lower half as you are on the top. This could bring your ROM up at the bottom. Do the left the same time as you're doing your right even though the weight seems light because your body naturally lends itself in the effort to catch up.
50 lbs without pain is a decent starting point. It not how much you lift but giving it an honest effort that's going to help.
If these work you could also try pause presses where you pause for a 3 count at the bottom. Again, you have to use lighter weight because your taking out the reflex. You can do a set or two of them after your normal press for make-up work.
yea I'm gonna try the 1 1/2 rep thing, someone else suggested something like that also. My chest ( genetics ) is small,
50lb presses are light and i normally do 4x10, but anything over 50lbs my right arm seems to just say screw it. I did some 75lb presses, left arm not a problem my right arm wouldn't budge on the bottom going up.
I'm also gonna look into finding a doctor, maybe I can get a sports doctor?
I know my insurance company requires a referral so it's all up to my primary doctor to let me go. I couldn't afford to come out of pocket on my own to pay to see if there's anything wrong.
