no, the reason alabama is under investigation is that a couple of coaches from the mike dubose era paid a high school coach in tennessee to sway a player to go there. well someone ratted them all out and thus began the investigation. the guy that was swayed is trying to get on at tennesse st. or some other 1-AA school. it has nothing to do with criminals playing for them only two corupt coaches who are, thankfully, gone.

you must be an FSU fan. i hate the idea of letting rapist and druggies play for a team. if a scholl let's harden criminals play, any school not just FSU, they need to have something done. i guess FSU cares less about integrity and more about winning.

Yes I am a Seminole fan. But I have seen no story of any kind out there stating any "criminal" activity going on at FSU. So what are you talking about?

BTW . . . "criminal players" or "corrupt coaches". I don't see a difference. You're comparing apples to oranges.

krypto, several players from fsu were arrested last year i think it was or earlier this year. i think they stole a car or something which landed them in jail. they got bailed out. well, bowden did nothing to them. he let them play despite that. if id had been some other school they'd be off the team or at least suspended for x number of games. that's what i was getting at. the coaches in question are no longer there and it was discovered after they had left. both are wrong but bowden thinks what goes on off the field has no effect on a player on his team. i'd have left them in jail and sad to hel with them. i won't have criminals on my team and if i find out there are they are gone. same with coaches, i'd protect the integrity of the program over winning. that's my take on it. i'm not tryin to down play anyone but i mean there is a line somewhere.
