Here's A Motorcycle Thread

Nice bikes, sometimes I free base the leaves from the Ma Huang plant, it gets me going, I pedal like a hungarian dust addict, heres my weaponry.

Hey, thats me, pic taken after a nice hunting session in the Southern Texas region, this hunt was good for the soul, kept me from trying to drown myself in a bucket of Glass plus, good stuff.
 
I was going to start building a cruiser this summer but my bills from 2 apts depleted that cash pretty quick. I'm going to try and get a cheap sportsbike after basic
 
I just sold my 98 ZX-11 ninja and bought a 2000 gsx r 750, the bike is in pieces right now. I'm gettin the frame and swing arm polished and powdercoated.
 
My next bike will probably be a HD Road King.

Though I would love to build a custom bike from the
ground up, just don't have the room for everything.

Nice scooters, I'm working on my 2nd scooter now, my first was a Heritage, a 2002 Road King Classic is my early Christmas present to myself. Soon as I learn how to shrink pics, I'll post some here.......

seen the 2002 R1s. The new black paint job is SWEET! One of the best looking bikes in production right now.

I'll just post a picture of it as long as everyone knows that I only own this baby in my dreams:
 
my 99' rm250. gots a good couple goodies on it, can whoop my friends 2001 cr 250 honda. i plan to soon by a street bike. im lookin at a 2001 suzuki GSX 1300R hayabusa, with 160hp, mid 9 quarter mile runs, and a top speed of 194 mph, it sounds too bad. also lookinat a kawasaki ninja zx-11, a little slower, but fuck if ill know the difference.
 
the 1300 gixxer handles like a piece of poo-poo. it's a big fat piece of shit, stay away from it unless all you wanna do is dragrace.

and yes the new R1 is a beauty! i love it .. but i'm not stupid enough to buy a 1st gen fuel injected bike from yamaha. recalls anyone?! i'm happy with my 2000 R1 with close to 150 ponies to the ground.

Ride is 1986 FXSTC glow job plug wires hot cam, Hyper charger intake system.... among the many things

Off the frame rebuild geared for this winter... new color might be a fluorescent pearl purple w/ emeron yellow flames

I used to think like you.........but going 170MPH on a crotch rocket with the drivers on the road today is suicide..........give me a slow,loud bike to cruise in and I'm happy. Those idiot drivers may not see you but they can hear you at least.

Those are two totally different bikes. The Ninja 11 is alot like my XX, actually Honda came out with mine to beat that bike. The Busa is confortable with some two up riding but not as comfty as either 11. If you want balls to the wall I would also look at the Ninja 12. I always see so many Hayabusas but never any 12s.

BTW..the 194 mph is a thing of the past. They have been cut back.There are ways to get around that though.

My first street bike was a
Kawasaki KZ bored to 650cc's I was 16
then a
Kawi ZX-6
then a Kaw EX250 (I got her for free, fixed her up and sold her less than a year lator)
Then a Honda CBR400rr
then a Kawasaki ZX-7 (although called a ZXR750 in Japan where I was living at the time)
Then a newer Honda CBR400rr (I sold my ZXR cuz I was actually faster on the track and in the mountains on the 400cc bikes.)

Now that I'm back state side I think its funny when guys have the latest and greatest "crotch rocket" but if you look at the rear tire they got a bald spot in the middle while the side wall is almost untouched. Tellen me their just a fan boy wanna be pretty boy with no sack.
 
CheckMateBloated I don't know who your reply was directed towards? (if it was a shot at me?) Make no mistake I'm no Mick Doohan (basicly the Michael Jordan of M/C GP http://www.doohan.com.au/ )but I can keep up with some awesome guys that have raced professionally (for a little while at least). As long as I have more to learn it will be fun for me, that's what its all about IMO. That's why I scoff at guys that have beginner experiance but buy the bikes that only a "SKILLED" rider can realize, its just a waste on money I think.

I've attached a pic of me on my old ZXR750 when I usd to live in Japan.
