here is why a.s are illegal!!

Steroids are C-III exclusively because of the influence of the sports lobby.... it's all bullshit, all the time.

IMHO it should stay C-3 to protect idiots like that woman and highschool kids who go to TJ and inject "1/4 of the brown vial every 10 days" w/o aspirating or post-cycle.

I just wish doctors were a) more knowledgeable and b) more liberal in prescribing it for our needs, whether athletic or aesthetic.

I am shocked at the level of ignoracne I see here... this is not a joke ladies. Winstrol can cause permament masculinizing effects on women if misused. I suggest each of you stop what you are doing, come over to a decent board like the women's board on elitefitness.com and get some help to DO THINGS RIGHT. Masculinizing includes a deeper voice, enlarged clitoris, facial hair...etc etc

Good advice...sure is scary how people would take something with out even doing a little research on the effects and sides. :rolleyes: I know why some think they need to "protect" us from ourselves but Darwin would have seen it different. :D

I totally disagree....if you study the statistics, there has been little drop in steroid use due to the scheduling....it obviously has done nothing to prevent these women from obtaining it has it?

What it has done is demonized it so the people that are going to do it cannot get good information, and will also potentially get counterfeit products...these women will also be unlikely to go to their doctors if something is wrong, whereas they could if steroids were not c-III....

Decriminalize it for adults, criminalize the distribution (like any other prescription drug), and criminalize the distribution to minors at a higher level... LET THE CORRUPT AND GREEDY SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS POLICE THEIR OWN FUCKING ATHLETES.

- and leave the rest of us the fuck alone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'm glad steroids are illegal... can you imagine how many she males and titty boys would be walking around if you could get them OTC? On the other hand, part of me wishes they were legal... then maybe I would actually try some.

If people are not willing to research what the hell they are taking, then they deserve what they get. Remember guns don't kill people,people kill people. It is a shame that we all have to suffer for the ignorant ones.

Im not about legalizing them, but I would like to see them de-criminalized, just like other presricption meds.

Well humor I understand, but still thought the post was ridiculous... if you wish them to stay that way in the UK (with legal possession) than great, but for us here in the US it's extremely disagreeable... no responsible adult should have their door kicked in, cuffed, etc etc with a potential felony drug conviction because the IOC wants better publicity...


What I always find incredible is that it is known now that most steroid side effects cease after cessation of use, but somehow our goverment thinks that a lifetime drug conviction is less harmful to someone than a bit of acne or elevated LDL.

gear is scheduled, IMHO, because it works and is cheap.. two things that are reviled by the pharmaceutical industry.. which you can be sure had a strong hand in their scheduling...

you may notice that the scheduling came not long after the expiry of their patents.
 
That may have had a hand in it, but in "Legal Muscle" the hearings are somewhat detailed out, and basically it went like this:

FDA, DEA, AMA, HHS, and a few others were all OPPOSED to the scheduling of anabolics... FDA seems to be in the Pharma company's pockets


The sports lobby, particularly the IOC, basically wanted congress to manage their problem (fucking crybabies) instead of them being responsible for keeping the games clean... all about publicity... so in true American fashion, the media followed in line with anecdotes from sports lobby doctors saying things like "Anyone who uses steroids for 60-90 days can expect to die in their 30's or 40's..." (direct quote)....

And like so many sheep the soccer moms and budweiser dads are up in a veritable panic about the 'steroid epidemic' .... despite the protests of every qualified agency listed above, congress schedules anabolics and the rest is history...
 
bump to that...it's all about the money. You know it and I know it...then comes the health issue, sick but true. let's not be naive, look at the era we live in...
