They look pretty good. The Texans don't look horrible, but they don't look that good either.
Nice weather for November and the Jets are looking like they will take this one.
10 minutes until the second half starts.

They showed the highlights and the place didnt even look near full??? whay arent the tickets sold out?

Hey- were you really at the game??? Im kinda freakin out cuase im going to the Chargers game tomorrow & someone told me it takes up to 2 hours to get in the parking lot!! WTF??

There are like 5 different colors for permitted parking.
I of course do not have that so I had to do the park and ride which was a bitch to find.
The new stadium is pretty nice.

park somewhere along the trolley line and take the trolley. It stops right at the stadium.

was my text how you found out? lol

my phone died at the sports bar and i got flooded with texts about the game when i got home.

No.. my friend called me as I'm pulling out of my driveway saying "the jets are the luckiest team" and I said "not today"

pwned

I kept saying to my wife "I can't believe the Jets blew that game, that is monumental"

then my friend called me with the news and it turned to
"I can't believe the Jets f-n won that game"

lol@ the stadium was empty too

kinda like a certain playoff game last year in Foxsboro? :)

apparently houston only knows how to play in the second half.

No, more like the Jets went into this pussy ass prevent type defense after they took a decent lead. Even if the Jets lost that game it would have been a lucky win for. Like I said they aren't horrible, but they are not good either.

no, they didn't.

There was blown coverages and missed assignments on at least 3 plays that resulted in big gains.

our pass rush isn't very good, so when you have blown coverage it's going to result in big plays.

I was there. They layed off bro. Even my GF could see it.

true
Cromartie can go from "unbelievable" to "how stupid is this guy in coverage" in 0.2 seconds

It wasn't Cro. He's been awesome outside of that first game.

i know on the touchdown to driessen the safeties fucked up (which has happened quite a bit. Brodney pool and Eric smith...I'm talking to you)

I was speaking about the Texans. Playing like ass and falling behind only to mount a not-enough-comeback seems to be how they play every week.

Ya, I honestly like schaub. He is a good player and foster on offense in pretty good as well. I think what's his name wide receiver is one of the biggest hype machines in the league. The guy puts up huge numbers every year, but I would take so many other players ahead of him. Andre Johnson is his name! I know the jets have the best DB's in the league, but he was almost invisible. Bentely and williams on their defensive side are really good as well.

you have no idea what you're talking about.

Andre Johnson is the best wide receiver in football. Its not even debatable. Calvin Johnson and Larry fitzgerald are close but andre johnson is the most physical and
Strong. He's played most of the year on a bum ankle and still lights up defenses.

And he was invisible because revis made
Him invisible. Just like every other single wideout in the NFL when he's been healthy. Megatron had one catch for 13 yards against revis.

Randy Moss seemed fine against Revis too. Revis is great I agree. I have seen games where johnson was good. He has all the tools, but looked like shit compared to santonio yesterday. Like shit..

what the...

what the...

they have the best corners, without a doubt. teams don't even try to throw outside anymore really. that's why you see the tight ends rack up numbers against us and the wideouts invisible for the most part

Safeties? No.....Jim Leonard is decent but pool and eric smith have given up huge plays

Not that you should be saying anything. your secondary is atrocious

So who has the best DB's in the NFL? Coleman is good too. They are deep at corner. I like leonard a lot.

Yeah, Chung and McCourty suck

just because they have talent doesn't mean they don't get burned or play consistently well.

2010 NFL Team Passing Stats - National Football League - ESPN

pats rank 31st, which is 2nd to last (to the texans lol) in passing yards given up per game at 290 yards.

they're also tied for 27th in yards per attempt given up.

opposing QB's average a 94.8 QB rating against them.,among the worst in the league.

Also near the bottom in touchdowns given up through the air.

All these numbers are not a coincidence.

The only thing that your defense does well through the air, that may not make the stats seem as bad, is get picks. They're top 10 in that....although i think chad henne and peyton manning are responsible for 50% of those.

so yeah, your secondary is vulnerable. i wish i had more stats but im willing to bet a large amount of that production comes from the wideouts.

jets are middle of the road in the categories i mentioned , but those numbers are skewed because of tight end production which ultimately falls on coverage breakdowns the linebackers or safety.

Only two wide receivers have had breakout games this year against the jets. 1 was brandon marshall when revis was hurt. The other was nate burleson who picked on drew coleman in the slot against detroit.

Dude..I never said our cb's or D is better than yours.
Our Secondary is a work in progress, some of the stats are misleading, Pats playing safties deep, no pass rush, garbage time yds vs PITT and yesterday vs INDY.
If you think the Patriots defense is gonna suck long term, then IDK what to say brah
Don't get me wrong, they worry me.. things about your team should worry you... Your built to win now, we're not, yet we're 8-2 and "rebuilding"
Kinda frustrating from other teams perspective. For those still pissed about us hanging around, they're really going to be unhappy this April with our 2-1's, 2-2's and 2-3's with the 2 and 3 being a top 1-6 pick in each round, never mind that Raider top 15 pick.
:rose:

i'm not talkign about the future. i told you they're going to be good, but the stats don't lie for the moment. i'm talking about right now.

yes, we're built to win now. but after 41 years the future can suck my dick

(btw....we have our core locked up long term anyways. mangold, revis, d'brick, sanchez, bart scott, and soon to be david harris).
