ok...Forget this.. i Can't do the Low-Carb diet anymore..

so, right now i'm at 213lbs, 18% bodyfat and 6'1

any recommendations of what my carbs, fats, protein ratio should be?

I'll try to cut out all carbs after 6pm, how does that sound?

Thanks for any Help

You could do a zone diet (40/30/30). I do a version of it while cutting, 50/25/25. I guess it depends on what you consider "low carb." Either way, if you want to lower that bf%, you're going to have to limit your carb intake, no way around it.

Well, I can stay under 150g carbs a day.. no problem.. beats the hell out of 20g.

I will just try to consume the majority of my carbs before 2pm

Good carbs: oatmeal, wheat bread, wheat torillas, brown rice, vegetables

OK carbs: white rice, unsweetened breakfast cereal

Bad carbs: white bread (any kind; sourdough, sandwich bread, french bread, etc..), complex carbs (sugar, including fruit). Only time to take in sugars (honey or fruit, not table sugar) is with a post workout shake.

try this

tell me what you think.

eggs & protien 44.........oatmeal&honey 50

protien powder 44.........orange 20

turkey 40.................wheat bread 40

protien powder 44.........orange 20

lean steak 50.............vegitables 20

grams of protien----------grams of carbs

the carbs are low but not too low to where youll get smooth, and muscles flat.

too seldom low carb diets contain no fruit....I think that this is a fallacy of modern dieting IMO.

hope this helps

any questions....let me know.

this diet might not get you shredded for a competition, but it will get you leaner

Try a CKD diet or just eat carbs, as you said, up until 5-6PM. Make sure cardio is done sometime during the day.
