I need ideas for activities to do away from home but not outside with a one year old. I feel like I never have Devin leave the house lately. any ideas?

Your kid will soon become old enough to make his own friends.
You should meet other Moms and then you can decide who you want your kid to become friends with as a child. I'm sure you can meet another Mom you relate with or whatever. You gotta put yourself out there, you could make great friend(s) you love and rely on. Or not, just an idea.

take him to a pet store to look at the baby animals. second thought, take me to the pet store
chuck e cheese. my son loved this place (i think he still does). i spent countless hours chasing him around in there.
also, playlands at mcdonald or burger king. find one. its free and the kids can play for hours in there; and you can eat cheeseburgers.
does your town or county have any family activities? i usually look to the parks and recreation dept of the local town to see whats offered.
also, the pool. is there a indoor pool nearby? you can sign up for mommy & me swim lessons. would be fun and active for the both of you

Smurfy smart..... she knows what up. Hit up the playland. Damn two hours from the aquarium, not worth it, really. Unless the shark exhibit is in town. OOps......... Hit the playlands. I guessing deliverance wasn't really far from the truth back a few months ago, just kidding, just kidding.My future ex is from down that way. They tore the land up to make the highway.... too bad as I saw the pics and it was quite nice.
Get him a sand box for outside. Kids love to be outside and play in the sand! Just make sure you get one with a lid, especially if you have cats or your neighbors do! ewww Mommy look at the snickers bar I found in the sand!
