help with water-based paint removal

i believe it is water-based, newayz need help removing paint splatters all over the case of a paint gun and the paint gun itself. what can i use to efficiently get it off?

See if Goo Gone or Goof Off will work with that. You can get it at Home Depot or a drugstore.

let it dry, then carefully scrape it off using a knife.
