I need some help with my training routine guys. i knwo this is the gear thread but gear is related to this.

tomarrow (monday 3/12) i will be goin into week 5 of test e at 300 mg a week.

i was wonderin since gear helps you recover faster. what would you guys think if i shocked my muscles by doin chest 2 days in a row, back 2 days in a row, arms 2 days in a row??

right now my routine is
monday chest
flat bench press 5x10-12
incline press 5x10-12
flat bench dumbbell flyes 5x12
dips 5x12
flat bench dumbbell pullovers 5x12

tuesday back
deadlift 5x8-10
bent over barbell row 5x10-12
tbar row 5x10-12
lat pulldown 5x12/10/8/8/15

wednesday legs
squats 5x8-10
leg curls 5x10
leg press 5x8-10
leg extensions 5x10
calf raises 5x15

thursday arms
barbell cheat curls 5x8-10
incline bench dumbbell curls 5x10
standing alt. dumbbell curls 5x10
bent over 1 arm concentration curls 5x10
dips 5x12
china press or overhead extensions (whatever their called) 5x15-20
tricep overhead rope extenstions 5x15-20
single bar tricep pushdown 5x15-20

friday shoulders/delts
behind back military press 5x10
side late raises 5x10
cable lat raises 5x10
bent over lat raises 5x10
upright rows 5x10
shoulder shrugs 5x12

please put any suggestions or anything.

goals?
stats?
training history?

P.S. Gear doesn't make your CNS recover any faster.

P.P.S. Calories In > Calories Out = Gains.

.............

40 sets on "arm day" ... well mostly everything would do better with this:

Instead of saving energy for all that extra fluff... if you put 100% of you energy in push the big lifts you'll grow better than you ever have... that's shotgun advice though... if you're cutting and you don't give a shit about strength sure that'll work but you won't progress unless you have some excellent genetics.

Well you can increase your gear to 500mg per week and I think shocking is great

I would recommend going 5 or 6 days and really shocking each muscle group.

I have done it specifically on back and noticed results. My little lats actually grew.

Get an over the counter kick ass supplement like amplify 02, helps a lot with super intense workouts.

I think working the same muscle two days in a row would be wasting your time because you would be overtraining the same muscle. It would not be repaired before you were breaking it down again. You could have a shorter split maybe a three day split on your excersize routine but I would not go any shorter. jmo

For me the work load is far too high
I assume hypetophy is number one over strength?
The suggestions i would make are as follows

keep it to:

flat bench
incline DB press
wide weighted dips
then one of the samller chest movements on chest days

back day, remove either bent over row or T bar for chins/pull ups to work the vertical plane (more effectively than lat pull down)

legs days, some SLDLS in there and move it away from back day (so a swap with arms)

arms day is for me a joke? its a bicep boys heaven

cut the volume
10-12 reps are fine on the smaller muscles but 40 sets, combined with the compound work from before is overkill

shoulders?
use DB seated press instead of one of the lateral movements

again cut the volume

overall if you want volume employ something like GVT opposed to a the bastard child of arnie vs clueless kid training

agree with the guys on 300mg of test...its low, but your not displaying the knowledge of someone who should be using gear period

that just my 2p (we have pennies in the UK over cents :qt: )

im 20 years old, yea i know im too young for gear but too late already. 185 lbs. 6'0"
bench max at 285
squat max at 405
deadlift max at 365

been training since 15 years old for athletics. my genetics are decent. not like im hercules or anything but i have a high metabolism so i dont have to do much ab work for an 8 pack and i have good calfs :qt:

and i do put 100% into the basic compound lifts like bench, deads, squats

i just wanted to see what you guys would suggest for a good muscle shock routine.

ooh and the reason im on test e just on 300mg and not 500 is bc alot of guys on here told me to start out at 300 for a first cycle bc i want to build a low tolerence.

1. You are overtraining your arms. Train each body part in relation to size.

2. Working out a body part without letting it recover will stop all gains and you may even lose mass.

3. I like your routine other than that. Every other training day, train heavier with lower reps (6-8). That's how you shock train.

4. Eat like a mofo (clean od course)

5. 300 mg test ew is probably good for you because you are producing as much naturally as you ever will.

thanks homies, ive been training my arms like this for 4 weeks now and havent had any problems but i will cut down the sets to 3. i try to eat like a mofo. the test is starkin to kick in tho. :)

185lbs @ 6' ... you just gotta eat, you have some nice lift maxes for your weight...

lift progressively and make 'em higher

yea i try to eat everything. i have decent genetics but im kind of a hardgainer. its funny bc i tell ppl im 185 and they think i weigh like 200. which is my goal by this coming november.

try harder and you WILL gain bro you just have a fast metabolism or don't eat above your bodys required maintenace calories at your weight... it's just a matter of eating more... it'll get easier for you...

My favorite split's are:

1) Chest, Tris, Light Deltoids
2) RUNNING
3) Back, Biceps

WOW, at 20 years old is when I started and my maxes where were your at when I was 18 or 19. If you look back at my previous posts, like my first ones, I listed all my maxes and I was the same as you, I'm 5'11 and 205lbs right now. I also ran a 4.47 when I was 19 going on 20. Right now I'm a fresh 21 years old. I've ran some simple cycles like Var, Prop, EQ and Winny are the only compounds I've ever ran. In one of my past cycles, it lists all my cycles in order. Idk if your plat or not, if not, IM me for my past cycles if you want them. My maxes right now are as follows:
Squat: 458
Bench: 305
I dont deadlift so I couldnt help you out there, but go at it hard with the right compounds and you'll put on keepable mass. EQ helped me the most I believe. Good Luck and hit me up
