I have to give a "persuasive" speech in class. I want to do mine on gun control.

I need 4 arguments in favor of gun control and at least one opposed to it.

Does anyone have any information handy (including cites) that I can use?

Pull out a .44 magnum in class, load it, and then shoot your teacher in the head. This will be viewed as an argument FOR gun control by most, but some will most likely thank you for giving them the rest of the semester off and ask if they can handle your pistol.

You have a 10 second sl 1. We find more guns than anyone else in town. That is from people who should not have them. Hundreds of lives a year are saved by armed citizens with the proper training. I am all against selling a thug a shotgun at kmart. But for every bad peson you sell one to a hundred good people are buying for the right reasons. You will never stop the bad guys from getting guns. never you ,must have armed citizens to protect themselves. Hell I was packing a glock while we were at the movie. you would have thanked me had all hell broke loose in the theatre and i got the bad guy

GUNS DONT KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. MY OLDER BROTHER PULLED A LOADED 12 GAUGE ON ME THE OTHER DAY. AFTER HE DECIDED NOT TO PULL THE TRIGGER, I ALMOST TOOK THE GUN FROM HIM AND BEAT HIM WITH IT. BUT HE IS A CONVICTED FELON SO I DECIDED TO CALL THE POLICE ON HIM. AT THE LAST SECOND I HUNG UP CUZ MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH SHIT. I THEN PROCEDED TO INVITE HIM OUTSIDE BUT HE PROCEDED TO DECLINE OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Interesting story but I need some real information with citations. I can't just stand in front of the class and say, "Kayne told me in an e-mail ... "

and you might get a manly man out of it

I then would maybe get you some statistics from the clark county justice dept.

All the cocktail waitresses at school love me. I've been asked out twice (once was today!). Not interested. I can smell their pussies across the room.

When is this speech do? Pick a new topic that one is over used. Do one on why online gambling should be illegal. It is so hard to monitor and rig etc etc etc

I ATTENDED THE CLASS ONLY 8 TIMES THE WHOLE SEMESTER. 5 WERE FOR SPEECHES AND THE OTHER 3 WERE FOR TESTS. I MADE AN A.

check out this lil' ole thing known as the US Constitution...I think there's something in there about guns and stuff...it was written way back by a bunch of old guys, but it's pretty neat
