Help With Picture Posting!!!

Everytime I try to post a pic, it says the file is too big..how do i make the file smaller on my hardrive to post it??

i'm just pickin pictures I scanned and have saved...?????

on mine i double click it in Explorer then in what it opens into i change the dimensions to be smaller & resave...

that way i can make it any size i want.

Depends what software you have but in anything the pics open into you should be able to resize them to be smaller. Save to a new name if you want to keep the bigger version!!! (You'll lose info if you shrink then try to make it big again...)

I either use adobe or acdsee to shrink the file a bit. The file must be less then 102 k I believe. You can email it to me and I can fix it tonight...but couldn't get it back to you till about 12:30 tonight...when I get off work.

If you have a photo editing program you can crop any unneccesary parts of the picture around the edges. I've done that a few time to get them to poat on this site.

Use photoshop, or pm someone who has it.

i used to be able to post almost any picture from my harddrive (that was the proper size)
it just doesnt work anymore
i cant even now only post very few links to pics and actually have it work right
