Help with IRC??? (Norton Personal Firewall)

First off let me say THANK YOOOOOOU for those who showed me Trillian. I love it! Best program ever!


Now I got a problem with IRC, I havnt been able to connect to it lately. It says "unable to connect" unless I turn my Norton Personal Firewall off. How do I set it up so Norton won't bother it? I dont get any msg asking me what to do and it wont connect in either mIRC or Trillian. What can I do? No server works, not a one of them.

Im not very familiar with Norton Personal Firewall, but i have used a few other Personal/Corporate firewalls..

First off, are you able to surf to websites with the Firewall on?
When you tro to connect to an irc-server, do you get a pop-up from Norton Personal Firewall with a question about your IRC program to access the internet?

If not, you probably got this message the first time you tried to run your IRC program after installing the firewall, and the Firewall has blocked, and remembered that you blocked this program.

I suggest you look at the Firewall-setup and delete all the "block-rules".
