I dont know if it's the primo sides or the winny side effect but ive been feeling really depressed lately. I googled the side effects of winny and some say depression is a side effect. What do some of you do to combat the depression?? 50mg/ed of winny and 400mg/week of primo is all im taking.

ST Johns Wort? They use and love it in Europe bro.

Bro I've never tried St. John Wart but Zed's a knowedgable dude. I know that HCGenerate will make you feel like a million bucks if you wanted to try some from NTBM. Next do you have any history of depression or do you have anything crazy going on in your life right now?

Have you suffered from depression before your cycle?

Getting enough sleep?

Are you getting enough Vitamin D? In the winter or other places that lack sun it can be a real issue for some ppl.. Hence the term "January or February Blues". This is one of the reasons i tan during the winters..

Cheers,

I second the tanning and vitamin d this time of year.

Have you changed your diet to coincide with your cycle? cut out a lot of fat or carbs?

There's a great OTC sup called 5-HTP. It converts directly to serotonin and works better than anything I've ever tried. Blows away St. John's Wort.

It could definately be Seasonal Affective Disorder, due to reduced sunlight... 5-HTP is certainly stronger than St. J-W, but they are different: 5-HTP helps synthesise serotonin, and SJW boosts it. But DO NOT take them together or take them with an anti-depressant (because they essentially do the same thing). Aside from that, you want to be careful eliminating carbs completely, because it will directly affect your serotonin levels. That said, you want to avoid surges in blood sugar which result in very low blood sugar level, which might increase the feelings of depression.

But, in general, whenever you alter hormone levels in the body with roids, you run the risk of anxiety or depression. Hopefully, this'll just be short lived as you body finds equilibrium again.
