Help with Dallas

Havent been in 5 years. Deep ellum still cool? Lookign for some fun things to do with my old lady down there.. If any of you guys can suggest some fun things to do during the day, and nightlife, I will be very appreciative.

ummm night life in deep ellum is bums, hoodlums ghetto wiggers and other pieces of shit.
it has really gone down hill.

Nitelife, go to Oaklawn, go to S4 if your not into the hot sweaty man on man thing. TMC is alot of fun dark, great music but lots of men.
If you like country the roundup is there and some of the guys will give free lessons.


Interesting people, great times to be had, Stop by the Green Papaya for lunch or dinner great vietnamese food.

lower greenville lots of bars.

downtown fort worth, cleaner and lots of bars and clubs.

addison has petes dueling pianos, the Improv comedy club, and lots of bars



daytime? ummmm The aquarium or go shopping at the galleria or willowbend. go look at where JFK was shot? musuems?

just a little further info here: S4 is great if you like loud music and people in their 20's. It is mixed crowd. TMC will have older guys; the friendiest group of men are definitely to be found at the RoundUp; they won't be heterophobic and will even invite you to join in on some of the line dances. lol

wtf?? is this a gay thread?? oaklawn is the homo district, go to the ghost bar, or seven on saturdays... even eight lounge or tantra if on greenville,, for after hours go to INSOMNIA!!!!!! if you like rock go to firewater.. all these are mixed crowds except for firewater which is ROCK oriented... I'm not bashing gay clubs or anything but if you and your old lady are going out I would stay away from oaklawn

Exactly what I was going to say, even the Aquarium. I would also add:
-Medieval Times
-Billy Bob's and the Ft. Worth Zoo are fun if you are willing to go to Ft. Worth.
-Champ's and Garcia's (there is also one near/on Greenville) in Addison are fun on certain nights. Garcia's is known for their chick drinks so your old lady will be satisfied. Food at Champ's is good but Garcia's is mediocre at best.
-Lower Greenville is always good and but it is where all of us college kids go.
-Uptown has a lot of good restaurants. Sushi on McKinney is pretty good and relatively inexpensive if you like sushi.
