HELP With 2nd Carb-Up Meal Before Bed..

I am following the NHE Eating Plan.. (Natural Hormonal Enhancement by Rob Faigin).. however, I have made a few adjustments.

Basically you eat low carb everyday of the week except 2 days. On those 2 days around dinner time you eat a HUGE meal of carbs. I eat pasta, Gatorade, and ice-cream. I take a lot glucose disposal agents before this carb-up meal too, like ALA, vanadyl, taurine, creatine, glutamine, etc.

Anyway.. I was thinking about adding a 2nd carb-up meal before bed. To really push for extra glycogen storage and elevated insulin and leptin levels. I was thinking maybe a bowl of slow-burning oatmeal to really refill glycogen stores. Also 300 mg. ALA as well.

Would this be a good idea?

and reading that book. ive been following it for about a year now
and i tell you the results are remarkable.my advice to you, cause i got this thing down to an art after a year of doing it, is first you mention you're taking supps. to help with insulin regulation? you dont want that because your glycogen stores are depleted and anything that you eat carb wise, your muscles wil suck that shit right up and leave nothing to be converted to triglycerides and stored as fat. you want that huge insulin spike to help jump start your thyroid. cause after low carb dieting for a while the production of t3 down regulates, also, look at that book a little closer because i dont think your supposed to carb out for 2 days in a row. I think its just the last 2 meals of the day. trust me if you do it right, youll notice how it works...my b/f right now is at about 6% so when i carb out, i see the difference the next morning in how i look veinier and fuller. if you over do the carbs youll know cause youll spill over and see it in the morning.

Whatsup bro? Glad to see another NHE advocate. Anyway how many carbs would you recommend taking in in the carb-up meals? Right now I am taking in around 225g from high-glycemic sources (pasta, Gatorade, yogurt) and then around 85g (oatmeal) in my second meal.
