There's no way I can make it to N.O. As much fun as it would be, it's just too many $$$ for this starving student.

Bull - I will not be going. The timing is bad (having met someone recently). I would have contributed a little $ to May's fare if someone set up a contribution fund.

For those wondering, S.D. is something to be seen. Think of Mardi Gras but BETTER. A lot of straights go there and they have a ball. (or a pair.) It is wild.

I just got back from a week in New Orleans, following nearly a month in Europe.

Lemme give you some sexual advice. If you are into bottoming at all, visiting New Orleans is like checking into a monastery. I had to revert to total top status. Maybe it's different during Decadence when out-of-towners not turned into lazy-ass fulltime bottoms by the tropical heat and cholesterol-rich cuisine visit.

Some advice: bid for a room on Priceline. I got a room in the Quarter at a four-star hotel for $55 a night. Of course, I imagine there are few bargains during Decadence, which is now a bigger draw than Mardi Gras.

It is by far the best time I have ever had. Everyone is accepted, and it is all about having fun. The best thing it is full of real men. Twinkies are not the dish of the day. The more masculine you are the better.
