Help out a newbie

Hey guys... I've been a member for a few months and find this forum really informative... I was wondering if u guys could help me out... i've never hit up a cycle before and i could really use some advice... I'm 23 yrs old, 6'2 and about 200lbs. ... i've been working out for about 2yrs and managed to get up from 170lbs to my current weight... but for like the last 4 or 5 months i havent been gaining any weight or moving up in the gym... i eat as often and healthy as my schedule allows (work and school). I was thinking of starting a Deca and anavar cycle, but i'm kind of scared off by all the posts about the sexual sideffects of Deca...I'm looking to make fair to moderate gains (15 to 20lbs) over the next year or so... i was wondering what u guys thought? possible dosages? other possible cycles? any input would be greatly appreciated... thanx!!
 
run test enanthate at 400mg/wk. Have nolva on hand just in case you get gyno symptoms, although from all the people i have met who run test, I have known only 1 guy to get gyno from a low dose, so i wouldn't worry about it.
 
IMO, you would be best off staying away from deca. Maybe try var alone at 40mg/day and see how you like it, or low amounts of test (250-400mg/wk).
 
i think u should wait, im 6'2" also and i have gotten up to 220 naturally , and i still am small, so i would try to put on some more mass. I am going to gain at least 10- 20 more lbs to march naturally then do a cycle. since you have been only workin out for 2 years, i would wait. I have been working out for 7-8 years and im only 21. but if u feel its necessary, its all you. First cycle should be test. you'll make some great gains pff that @ 400- 500 mgs/ ew.
 
Test only should be everyone's first cycle. This way you are able to determine the effects as well as the sides. Test Cyp or Ent like previously mentioned will make for an ideal first cycle. Run it for 8-10 weeks at no more than 500mg EW. One shot per week is all that is necessary. If you decide to run 400mg EW then it's only 2cc's per shot (unless you have 250).
 
If you're set on using gear then test at 300-400mg. week with some arimidex to limit bloat and gyno followed by clomid would be the ticket BUT you've only been working out for 2 years and put on 30 lbs so right now you're averaging 15lbs a year and are still becoming a better more efficient bb. Why bother with the sauce if you're only looking for an additional 15-20 over the next year? Focus on youyr training and diet and supplements and see if you can't break through the plateau naturally. Save the juice until you hit more of a sticking point or atleast until you've dettermined that this really is that point b/c I doubt you've maxed out after 2 yrs and at 300lbs. Then when you really need the sauce it will be taking you to levels you couldn't have achieved naturally rather then just getting you some where you would have gotten just in less time. If you are set on going on cycle I'd run the test and reaccess your goals to gain that 15-20 or more of LBM in the cycle itself. Peace.
 
u guys are the best... thanx for all the advice... i'm def. still thinkin things over... at the risk of sounding like an idiot, i read in one of the other posts that sust and test can be used interchangeably? is this true? and can anyone elaborate
 
sust is test, its just a blend of esters that stay in the body different lengths of time. I would just stick with a single esters test, like cyp or eth.
