Help on aspirating....

Christianlifter

New member
Ok first of all excuse my ignorance, I have never aspirated before ( years of juicing). I have checked out 2Thicks site which is awesome but Im not really clear on this.
I tried to pull back on the pin after I put it in and nothing..should I pull harder? I know Im looking for blood, but what happens if I dont hit a vessel? How hard should I pull back?
Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Any help would be greatly apppreciated....BTW can I use the 1.5 pins for quad shots ( I have always done glute shots)
Thanks Bro's.

God Bless

Just pull back slightly. If nothing happens, you're not in a vein.
If you're in a vein, you'll only need to barely touch the plunger for
blood to gush into it, so don't worry.

If you hit a vein the blood will go into your syringe when you pull it back. You don't have to pull your syringe back far at all. You said when you aspirated you saw nothing. That is what you want.:spit:

If you pull back on the pin and get nothing - that's what you want. You'll get tiny air bubbles most of the time. This is OK. You definitely never want to see blood when you pull back, if you do, remove the pin and go for another spot.

Well some people use 1 inch pins but i bury 1.5 inchers in my quad without any problems. When you aspirate, you should pull back on the plunger to create a vacum in the syringe which will show an airbubble if you are in the muscle or blood if you are in a vein. You can pull back on it pretty hard, dont worry. The air in the syringe used to freak me out but it all disapears once you take let off on the plunger and there is no vacum in the syringe.

pull back a little bit you should not see any blood in the pin, only little air bubbles if thats so then you good to go....and i use the 22g 1.5 pin for my quad, but i dont go in all the way only about 1 inch in.

good luck,

trying using a an insulin pin to site inject in your quad, it's a much smaller pin, so there is less room for tissue damage.

I use a 25 gauge 1in pin in the quads and am very happy with this. Thicker pins will cause more trauma.

To aspirate I do like the quad, it's easy to do. I also like to pull back far enough that I know for sure I've actually moved it. I always see little air bubbles and that makes me feel safer.

Good luck!

Alot of times nothing will happen when you aspirate, other times (if you're not in a vein) some bubbles will come into the syringe, and like veryone else has said, if you're in a vein, blood will gush into it. I'd suggest you always have some paper towels or toilet paper handy incase you do hit a vein, that way you can cover the hole up imediately and the blood won't squirt every where. Good Luck and be carefull!!!
