Help Need Doctors Opinion!!!

I am a 19 year old male interested in using anabolic steroids for the first time. I have a condition called supra-ventricula tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and am taking a beta blocker called Toprol XL 25 mg. once a day for the rapid heart rate. I was wondering if I can still use steroids without them directly afecting my condition.

hey joker i don't see where it will affect your regimen for the svt. i t does nothing to speed you up, i would probaly stay away fromthe ephedra based products if i were you. i would also check with my cardiologist for some advice before going on, for your peace mind. he can and will tell ya if he recommends it or not, probaly not because all the bad pub,s it gets but he should tell ya if it will be safe for your condition, later duckster

I dont believe that AS use causes your heart to increase BUT when you injsct for the 1st few times being a new user you will get some anxiety which WILL cause a increase in heart rate. Talk to your DR.

Watch by BP. High pressures have the potential to trigger an SVT attack you don't want to end up in the Ambo 3 times a day being pumped full of Adenocard all the time.

I meant watch your Blood Pressure. High Blood Pressure could send you into SVT. Adenocard (Adenosine Injection) is used by Paramedics and Doctors to treat acute attacks of SVT.

lone az is right about his statement but the adenosine is not the only drug we use to treat svt we also use cardizem, depends on what type svt it is a-fib/flutter- a-tach, dx depends. but i would check with your cardio guy first and tell him straight up

I used to take a beta blocker cause i did too much coke one nite about 6 yrs ago( yes guys i know how stupid i am) no heart attack or svt though. kind of hyper excited it. had lots of anxiety and wasted E.R. visits too. saw cardiologist many times had many,many tests done and nothing is wrong with me! took me about two and a half years to come to terms with the fact that i wasn't going to drop dead. used to take 25mg of metoprolol 2x day then it grew to 1x then into 1 every two weeks now i havn't taken one for like 2 years.the heart has amazing powers to heal itself. my cardiologist gave me the customary disclaimer of you shouldn't take those but then he said a/s won't interfere with beta blocker. cool thing is that its in my medical record so i can easily get b.p. meds for during cycle if necessary. i couldn't even have caffiene for a long time now i'm fine.gives me a little hang over thats it.talk to your doc and be careful.......good luck

which leads me too my next question concerning his condition and the one i don't seem to have anymore ?????would low-mid doses of clen be safe idea???
