i have not worked out in 3 days and i have gastroenteritis! my family has all lost 5lbs from it. do you guys think i should just take my anavar and not workout, so that way im not burning any more calories (that might come from muscle) or do you guys think i should get in the gym and fatigue my muscles since it will be day 4 of no workouts. im just worried cause my family has lost weight and i dont want to lose lbm. by the way, gastroenteritis is when you throw up alot and cant absorb much cause you shit it out in 2 seconds, lol. im not throwing up but im shitting like theres no tomorrow. what do you guys think i should do??
a: rest save cals you might need for energy (preserve lbm)
b: fatigue those muscles cause they have rested long enough
REST & DRINK PLENTY OF LIQUIDS!!
In order to fully recover as quickly as possible, you need to rest, get plenty of clear liquids, and eat easy-to-digest foods. Treatment focues on reducing the symptoms and preventing dehydration. You might want to drink rehydrating solutions (eg. Pedialyte) which contain replacement minerals & electrolytes (something like Gatorade would work too).
Anavar is quite effective in offsetting protein catabolism, even at "low" doses of 5-10 mg/day. Medically, oxandrolone is used to promote weight gain after weight loss following extensive surgery, chronic infections, severe trauma, etc, with suggested doseage:
2.5 - 20 mg/day (given in 2-4 divided doses).
With a half-life of ~9 hours, I would recomment taking 5 mg in the morning (say 8am), and a second 5 mg dose 9 hours later (say 5pm).
Besides, if you haven't taken a week off from training in ~12 weeks, a few days of rest would let your muscles & CNS fully recover. You'll come back stronger following this time off & full recovery from the gastroenteritis.
Hope this helps...and get better soon!
