Are there any topics you would like to see discussed?

Part of me is afraid that this forum will stumble here because there is simply not enough of a depth of business experience to make it work.

But I love the idea of this forum and want to help out as much as I can. Thus, a few ideas:

(1) Ask some f---ing questions

(2) Suggest some topics worth discussing.

I want to post up more, but I don't want to get into detailed conversations about things that people are uninterested in, or just will not understand.

I think home and car buying are worthy of a sticky each.

I could help put together something on when and how to incorporate (I've incorporated twice in two different states - a 501c3 and an S).

We could possibly do a classified sticky where we list services that are of use to each other (I have direct mail and direct phone operations to offer).

Retirement plans are confusing/mysterios to many. 401k, IRA, Roth IRA, etc. Some explanation of these would be useful.

A sticky with useful links to the small business man would be helpful (I'd throw guru.com on the list).

I bet there are a lot of questions about the whole 'ebay' business technique. Maybe some info could be shared (and I could share some) on how to make this work.

A review of the online brokerage sites? Some are better than others.

ONLINE ADVERTISING! Should you use it? Which services work and which are a waste of money?

MAximizing online referal fees? I have a small, dead blog with links to Amazon that, if you buy something with the link, gets me some $$. How do you optimize these for income?

What's your view on conventions and expositions? Fantastic opportunties for fostering new and existing business relationships, or just a over-hyped event mainly used as a sales tool for the booth owners? What's the best way to utilize conventions or business expo's for any business, big or small?

I don't know shit about E-bay or online brokerages, so if you (or anyone) wants to post up

I too can offer assistance in this area.....as a good percentage of my business is built upon a platform of e-commerce (E-Bay and other outlets).
