Canon is the only major that seems to be thriving. With the lack of competition in the pro market, they have decided theu their latest offer is worth over $5000.
A good camera used to last a pro for decades....not it is a couple years and they cost more too. Plus our job has only just begun after the shoot.
I need to get very, very good at Photoshop or face obsolescense. I can learn but it takes a great deal of time to properly photoshop a large batch.
Amateurs think it is fun. Many list the favorite thing to do on a Saturday night is to play with Photoshop. Fucked up.
I'll survive this year based on current bookings but if the economy does not pick up shit will likely hit the fan soon enough. I got some good years in anyways.

This economy has been knocked on its butt for a long time. Seems a lil lifeless to me.
