i have a case of gyno, it doesnt seem to be responding to tamoxifen. (unless its underdosed ??? ) ive been on 30-40 mg for 4 weeks now. The soreness has abaded almost 100 % . But, I have yet to see a size decrease.
It is only in my left nipple, and there is NO puffiness. You cant even tell its there, until you feel it. But you sure can feel it.

Now, should I :

a> continue w/ tamox at said dosage (30-40mg day)
b> increase dose ~ 60 mg/day
c> add letrozole, and at what dosage
d> use only letro ??

I havent read any studies about letro and gyno, but ive seen numerous one that state it is better at removing tumors in women w/ breast cancer. Ive also read that it can take months , to notice any real effect from the tamox.

I really need your help.
thanks

call a plastic surgeon......seriously though, you can continue to take the nolva but is is very difficult to get rid of existing gyno without surgery.....

i really was expecting that, but didnt want to hear it :bawling:

if its fibrous tissue, meaning you have had it for some time, like over 6 months, then surgery is the only solution. however, if its non fibrous, then arimidex might help, letro will as well. even winny has helped mine.

I've got the same problem, cant see it but you can feel it, so far nothing I've tried has worked

its been less than 1 month

had the same thing until it developed into full blown doulbe gyno. I can almost nail it to using andro when it first got popular. Keep it under control or knife it. I just had surgery 4 days ago- best damn thing I've done in a while. It doesn't hurt a bit. just$$$$$$.

What would a surgery cost? NO way it would be covered I wouldn't think.

depends on where you go.....out here Dr. Nadler charges $7500 but he's one of the best in the country...

mine was covered 80% under ins. max cost @ $1500. But, a gen surgeon did mine. We'll see how it looks pretty soon. It all depends on how the MD writes it up. I've been through a lot to do it though. Endocrinologist, etc.

I'd keep up with the nolvadex for a while. Either that or try letro or l-dex. You've only had it for a month, so I don't think it is in the permenant category yet. If you can't see it I wouldn't worry too much about it, but its easy for me to say that I guess.
