i just got back from london and picked up D&G Masculine, definately the best mens cologne in yearssss.......also, the new hugo boss is good!

i like to just jerk off real fast or something to get all sweaty and then just get dressed and go to the clubs, i think chicks dig that
natural smell cause i pull all the time

colonge smells different on every person, you have to get a tester and wear them each for a week, see which on gets you the most comments

IMO the scents are totally different and should be worn accordingly.

Both smell good but D&G (their first fragrance) is stronger & more of a night or evening colone, suitable for dinner, clubs, bars.

Aqua Di Gio is a much lighter scent and can be worn throughout the day when you're just kick'in it...

A di Gio is overplayed garbage. No cologne smells good unless it mingles well with your natural body chemistry... some people don't work at all with light fragrances and go with light amounts of musk to enhance their natural odor. JPgaultier (although not my fav) has probably gotten me more puss than any other cologne.

Is the Chanel more of a night / club cologne? I like to wear Swiss Army in the day but need something for the night.

Something strikes me as remarkably unmasculine about wearing a scent.

I agree with Cableo's general sentiment (though not his technique) about natural smell. I wear no cologne or even aftershave (cold water works fine) but have been repeatedly complemented by women on my 'scent.'

And regarding women, I prefer their natural scent over any of chemical garbage.

good for you, you are different then most

I probably get a lot less attention from women than most. Like none.

Nonetheless, thanks for the compliment.

I went oldschool and just got versace dreamer, still love that and bluejeans!

try John Varvatos- its awesome; sage, vanilla, and leather essence scent. I hate those UNISEX colognes.

I use Ralph Lauren Romance.. kind of a queer name but I get compliments from ladies all the time.. I just wont tell them what it is when they ask, and no one wears it so its unique... just go to an upscale department store and try samples til you find one you like

I'm wondering which of these 2 colognes you prefer the most:

Darling,

How can I say this with love: Unless you are a teenager looking to fit in with the rest, I would pass on those. I would look for something else with more personality, that no one would have. If you like the citrus smell, try Acqua di Parma or Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte. They are about the same price as the ones you were looking into and I challenge you to find them at drugstores - they will just not be there!

For the evening, I love Anick Goutal. Look into Alexander McQueen as well, or Odeur 53, by Commes de Garcon. If you have a few green ones to drop, go directly to the Creed counter at the nearest department store.

With those scents on your cutis, Darling, I assure you that you will be smelling unique, different from the crowd at the mall. Bottomline is: try to find something that nobody else has, and that will not send you to the poor house - I have a real problem with that place!

Creed Imperial Millesime or Creed Green Irish Tweed is the scent of the gods, I must agree with Freddie. Out of those two that you listed, I wouldn't go with either...I'd just hit up a good fragrance store and check out what I'd like, take a chick if possible.

I just ordered FCUK the other day havn't gotten it in yet though. Heard lots of good comments about it. Also heard Ralph Lauren Silver Romance is good. Guess it all depends on your body chemistry.

Just got my FCUK in today, it smells great after about 30 mins. At first though even with only two squirts it smells like freakin' OFF Bug Spray. After that though all is good lol. However I must say I hate the bottle design, Ii just know the sprayer is going to malfunction before the bottle is empty. (I got the 3.4oz)

I ordered some issay miyake today, should be here in a few days and I'll report.

Issay Mikaye is hot-definitely a turn on.

is it not old yet? I personally could give a shit, but it seems like a lot of people only want to wear the hot shit, and Issey was big about 2 years ago. Not a huge fan of it though.

I loved Ralph Lauren Romance a couple years ago, but it never stuck on me for some reason (the smell...). Aqua di Gio I like, but a lot of dudes wear it. Right now I have 3 bottles-

Claiborne Mambo (really like it, but gets old quick)
Gucci Pour Homme (I like it but it is really "heavy")
Escada Magnetism (just bought - love it. very light and "summery") :rainbow:

Kenneth Cole Black
Kenneth Cole Reaction
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
HUGO by Hugo Boss
FCUK

Out of about 2 dozen different scents I now have, these are the ones I get the most women walking up to me and asking me what I'm wearing or making a,"Daayum, somebody smells good" comment.Always cool to see women start getting closer and trying to subtley take a whiff of you.lol

I thought I better update you on those samples I ordered. I have worn most of them, and they are all really nice, but I have to rank them, so here goes.

6) Cypres Musc - My least favorite. Better than a lot of stuff you smell, but a little too piney (?) for me.

5) Erolfa - A bit on the floral side, but it wears really well. The gap between #5 and #6 is quite larger than the gaps between the rest.

4) Tabarome - Really nice. Very crisp and mature.

3) Royal Scottish Lavender - I kinda slept on this one at first. The liquid smelled a bit overdone, but once you have it on, it really evens out and becomes a full, classy mature scent. I will probably buy a bottle of this.

2) Imperial Millesime - Every woman I let examine the samples chose this as their favorite. (Many females in my own family and the GF's) I personally am a bit turned off by the fact that I have ran into three guys that were wearing it in the past week. It really seems to have proliferated, probably because of internet sales. Don't get me wrong, this stuff smells great. Smell it and it stays with you. Definitely makes an impression. But I suspect it might be a bit too popular.

1) Green Irish Tweed - All around, gotta love this one. It went over really well, with everyone who smelled it. A true timeless classic, it is a bit more reserved than Imperial, but the crispness really makes up for it.

These are only my experiences and impressions. I would encourage anyone who is curious to check out the samples. It seems all you hear about is Imperial and GIT, but there are other really nice colognes by creed.

Hope this helps somebody get laid...

doesn't anyone use brute or hai karatie anymore?

(just kidding)

Sex Panther by Odion..........lol
Illegal in 9 states!
It works 60% of the time.....every tiiiime.....

haha, I love that scene...

will you marry me and then let me marinate myself in your cologne? :worried:

D&G is by far the bestest of the bestest cologne out there for men. yum yum yum

I think we can work something out :qt: and yes darlin wooing is a very good thing

In order\

1. Chrome
2. Curve Crush
3. Kenneth Cole Black
4. D & G Masculine

Chrome is getting old..but is still the shit. Curve Crush is great and fairly cheap.

I love Issi Miyake for men, and the new one I don't remember if it's Polo black or Kenneth Cole black...

i'm staying loyal to Eternity by Calvin Kline.

a lil' spritz in my pec hair lasts me all day.

i've had between the sheeters keep my wife beater because they like the combined smell of calvin and me so much. ;) :p :verygood:

Issey Miyake is the only cologne I've ever had where girls would wake up in the morning and they'd actually find it in my crib and want to spray it on themselves before I take them home. Amazing stuff! Mine's almost gone and I usually never get a 2nd bottle of anything but this could be the first.
