help me help myself

right ok, the past 4 months i have done much more than weights, then drinking, then drink, then drink a little more then weights. i have seen myself go out 4 days a week getting hammerd every time. and my work have noticed it as well, they have mentioned it. i have lost a lot of muscle too, because of the beer, it has put about an inch on my waist. dont get me wronge, i have made so many friends, and i have been getting a lot more sex aswell. but im not shure im that happy with it. and now im saving up for a holiday in september. but i have spent half my wages this week , on booze and my car... what can i do? anyhelp on cutting back, and saving money ?
 
If getting hammered made me have a bunch of new friends and got me a lot of sex, I'd fall off the wagon so hard I'd break my arm.

It doesn't for me though, and in the end I just feel shitty and fat like you.

The only way to do it is to quit cold turkey for awhile.

really, cold turkey ? that will do my wallet alot of good, but ive just got a phone call asking me out in half an hour, and i said yes.. so i will probs spend about another 100 pounds on drink tonight ? plz any advise on how to spend less before i go out

if you spend over $200 US on drinks in a night I cannot help you.

lol thats not uncommon over here ? most of my mates do it aswell, the most i have ever spent in 1 night on drink was, 185.00 uk pounds.. but ok its not just the money, last week i almost got killed, well maybe not but who knows... like i cant rember but my brother said he came over and saw me fighting with this guy and then he said, i will stick this knife in my keck. then i just smiled then grabbed his balls ?? WTF ? i cant rember that ? but i defo got kicked out that place that night, i just couldnt rember y ? DANG !! im going to drink water tonight i think,........ :worried:

You are still a young, 18 year old man, according to your profile. If, at that age, you develop the discipline and fortitude to limit your partying to say, one night per week, or at least drinking to one night per week, and get your diet and exercise program in check, it will go a long way toward your body in the future. Hell, I wish that I had developed the discipline to control my partying when I was your age.

When you get your body back into the shape you want it in, you will find that the best response to why you aren't having another beer or shot, will be to pull up your sleeve, flex your upper arm, and say, "Because while having another beer might get me more strange now, having a body like this will get me a hell of a lot more of it in the future!"

yeah your right mate, you are, i need a bit more advise on how to stop drinking so much though, like any tips ?? 20mins till i go out
 
bro here is my best advice,be the designated driver,I do it and I save tons of $ ,because Im like you and blow tons of cash when I go out,so I save it for one night a month and then I let loose,if you respect your friends you wont drink if you have driven because you value their lifes more then yours

:Chef: :tuc: Drink before you go out. It's cheaper and...you get fucked up before you go out.
 
Just don't go out as much and avoid the situation if you can't say no. I was getting out of control for a while after my divorce and it really got me clouded. You'll notice who your friends really are and if they understand your situation. It's tough to stay in and wonder what you're missing, how much random pooter you won't get, etc. It's worth it for your health.
 
well ok im back now.. its now 2.45, and im feeling really really sick. i went out a bit later so i decided to play catchy-upy. which ment i bought, a double Vodca and coke and a double vodka and red bull, put them both in a pint glass, and tryed to down it.. it took me 3 atempts to finish it, then i was on the shots. lol. and i had a dance off with like 10 americans.. and i decided it would be good idea to break dance on the floor... bad idea, my hands are all split.. yeah oak1, again.. lol anyway i got a free hat off of some chick. and i spent only 50 pounds. so im off to bed now to probs be sick, but i think i should clen my cuts first. night night every1

Re-asses your friendships and your personal goals: BBing is a true lifestyle, its not simply a sport you do, it involves a number of things as well, what you eat, when you sleep, etc... it is a change for good

well thanks u guys i have had a big think to myself about everything, and you are right i dont need to drink myself sick to have fun. and insted of thinking about how wasted i am going to get on holiday, my focus is to train like a bitch to get a great body for the holiday.. thanks again X
