Help: lack of sleep while Training

Hey guys over the holidays i've continued lifting with little rest, I usually just take some Cardio Breeze or down a handful of espresso beans before hitting the gym for a quick pick me up. I'm two weeks into a (400mg teste/ 400mg EQ) every 5days, but now i'm starting to have muscle spasms when i'm resting, especially back spasms. I usually get my full 7-8 hours of sleep but over the last month i'm avg about 4-5 hrs. Does anyone think the spasms are caused from my lack of sleep?

Do you work out in the afternoons or mornings? I noticed a patern that when I went to the gym after work It took me a long time to get to bed. I would toss and turn till 2-3am So I had to sacrifice and start hitting the gym at 6am. I would get home and eat dinner, then go for a light walk to get the food down and I would fall asleep by 9pm.

i usually work out afternoons, if the gym is full of jackoffs then i go back at night like 7 or 8 oclock.

That could be the problem, If I work out at 8pm I wont fall asleep till ateast 3am. Even after a warm shower.

Try to work out earlier or if posible in the mornings. Everyone always says its better to work out in the mornings.

Personally I have noticed that I lift more and feel stronger in the mornings. In the afternoons I get tired from work and my body is more rundown and I dont lift as much.

Just holdays or has this been going on for a while?

its mainly because of the holidays and I have a 5 month old son. But I've only been missing out on sleep over the past month and a half. and i've been having the muscle spasms for the past week.

stats
5'10"
210 lbs
14 % bf
2 weeks into (400 mg testE/ 400 mg EQ) ev 5 days

No, probably not related. I'm not a specialist though. I don't know how anyone goes for weeks or even on average on 4-5 hours sleep a night. I usually get 7-8 hours, 6 the bare minimum.

Congrats on your Son :)

Truth is that the cycle itself may be adding to the Sleeplessness.
When I cant sleep , balls out training or even double days will solve it.

You CNS is in charged state do to androgens floating around and of course EQ.


Things that can help with Sleep:
Valerian,
5 htp
(hot milk)
a glass of Red Wine
tryptophan
a meal with some carbs in it.

also look into "power Naps"
if at work instead of Lunch take a 45 minute nap

Thanks for the congrats and thanks for the advice. I took some melatonin yesterday, and slept good but felt a bit lathargic this morning. Does valerian root have that hang over feeling associated with it? Also would it be a waste is I take a week off 2 weeks into a cycle to relieve myself of these damn spasms?
 
i'm on a bulk right now with sust, dbol and deca but my last cut was testp, trenA and winny...i think i slept about 3 hours a night on that stuff! My body didn't seem to mind though.
