Help kidneys....

I have just come off a 12 week cycle and " I THINK" my kidney's are killing me. I was on 500mgs of Sustanon for 12 weeks and plus 100mgs of Anadrol for the last 6 weeks of the cycle. The cycle ended about 3 days ago and for just about that time my lower back has been killing me on both sides right where your Kidney's are... Could I have done some kidney damage or could there be an infection? Is this even my kidney's that hurt (really bad). Any one with info please help.

Thanks in advance!

Go to a doctor NOW. Your kidney usually doesn't hurt if it is infected... but if it does this is a major bad. You need to have your urine checked immediately.

Go to the ER is there isn't a 24 hour clinic near you.

So I guess I should cancell my plans on going out to drink tonight...LOL Shit though, is this something that can be fixed and treated? And is there something I would see in my urine like blood which there is none of...

tell ya what... ignore my advice... go out... do a boat load of kamakazi shooters... the worst the could possibly come from this is you end up needing dialysis 3 times a week... not a big deal

You don't know if it's your back or your kidneys that hurt. It's common to experience what is called "back pump" from Dianabol, I've had it happen to me and it goes away shortly after discontinuing the drug use. I've never used Anadrol, but I imagine it could cause the same thing.

Having said that, if in fact the problem you're having is your kidneys that would be a big problem. Go to a doctor.

I agree with them all-- I've used anapolons and dbols-- but anapolons gave me the most intense pumps/water retetiion, thus more harsher on your system-- and even more toxic.

Go to a Doc. and let us know what he says!

Your kidneys aren't actually all that sensitive when it comes to actually feeling anything; they usually create some sort of referred pain (for example, if you get hit in the kidney and your left leg hurts like a mofo for no apparent reason - just an example of referred pain). If you're feeling pain in the kidney area (right at the bottom ribs, slightly rearward) then there's most likely something SERIOUS wrong.

From a 12-week cycle, especially if you've retained significant water, your blood pressure - or at least your systolic pressure - was probably wicked-high for some prolonged period of time. This can easily damage the glomerulus of the kidney (the primary pressure-mediated filtration component). If it damaged enough glomeruli, you'd definitely have significant pain either with or without visible blood in the urine. In many cases there actually IS blood in the urine, but it's not detectable because of the dilution; who's gonna see 0.5mL of blood in 1,000 mL of piss, right?!

My advice : see a doctor ASAP, preferably a urologist who will likely be able to give you a rapid and effective diagnosis. Failing that, see an interal specialist. Your G.P. will just send you to one of those two anyway. If you want to become very high-profile, just go to the ER.

Best of luck, bro!

As a Cardiac Perfusionist and Vascular Specialist, I recommend seeing a doctor. It is possible your have retain fluid within your kidneys and this could develop into what is called hydronephrosis. With flank pain and your history of a cycle, you may have enough damage to be causing this pain. This could only get worse by letting it go. Hopefully, nothing is wrong - but why take a chance. You spend money on gear, so why not spend some money on your kidneys. Hope all goes well. Good luck,

Geoff

Hey sofaGeorge I was just joking about the drinking and trust me I am greatful for all the info and will see a doctor asap.. Also, the last thing I would do is go out and drink and ignore the pain and say fuck it I hope it goes away. I will be taking all your advise and will see a doctor, so thanks everyone for the feedback..

Thanks guys

i think the choice is pretty clear. if you think something is wrong, get to a doctor. i know the internet isnt my preferred source for medical help.
