Anthony Starks said:I'm not sure what Georgie24 is basing his opinions on, but that sounds exactly like gyno. The surgery is not going to be covered by insurance from everything I've heard no matter what you say to the doc. Plus, the nipple never looks right after the surgery. You're just kind of fucked bro.
Really? You might want to listen up then! My gyno surgery with LIPO was covered by INS!!! 5500$ all covered! I payed about 75$ co-pay and 25% of the hospital bed , 285$ .. and wah-lah.
First: get bc/bs PPO.
Second: Find a plastic surgeon who is on the Bc/Bs doctor list.
Thirdly: Tell him that you had it since puberty and it hasn't been that much of a problem until you lost weight recently and it started hurting. My doc asked me how much weight that I had lost and I told him about 30 pounds.
You might want to make sure that you can get the funds if bc/bs doesn't pay for it, but, they paid for it in my case. I have heard plenty of others here on this board who has bc/bs PPO - which either paid partially for the surgery or the full thing. It's worth a shot anyhow..
