HELP!!!.....................I need diet advice.

Ok, so this is the deal. Today is the 1st day of Ramadan and as such I will be fasting for the next 30 days. This basically means nothing at all to eat or drink (no not even water) between roughly the hours of 4:45 am to 4:45 pm. Obviously no supplements of any kind during the day also. AS is also out of the question (kinda defeats the purpose also)

My question is this, how can I adjust my diet to work with this. I have no expectations of actually making any improvements during this time.............it's basically more like damage control.

I picked up about 20 lbs of Prolab N-Large 2 (600 cal, 52g prot., 86g carbs, 6g total fat), I mix w/ extra glutamine and wake up and down one at 4:30 am, and have another one right at 4:45 pm when I can eat again while I'm at work. Followed by a solid meal about 1 1/2 hours thereafter. After that I can fill in the rest with 1 or 2 straight protein shakes before going to bed or training if I have the energy. Trying to take in about 20-30 extra grams of glutamine during this time (for anti-catabolic) as well as up my vitamin intake (C & E mostly)

Anyone have any suggestions on this, any other supplements you could recommend (only OTC stuff).

If Jamo Nezzar can do this I can do it..................thanks for any help :) ...................karma to you.............

Well, the weight gainer is a good idea, but try and eat as much real food as possible during the "dark" hours. Also, you could go on a low dose of fina or test just to save your muscle if your really worried about losing previous gains.

I would rearange my days so I am sleeping between 4:45 am to 4:45 pm.

I dont really want to get into a religous debate, but I feel fasting is foolish at best.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'm just trying to figure a realistic approach of how to work around it that's all.

Well, eat like a pig when you can, maybe ease up on the cardio. You could use this as an oppurtunity to lean down.
