Help for Girlfriend

Hey guys, just signed up and would like some help. I have been viewing posts for about a year on this site and you guys are great. Lots of aweosme help. Now im wondering if someone can help me out with a few questions my girl has.

Im sure this will help a bunch of others aswell.

My girl just started hitting the gym, shes been in for about 3-4 months. She just wants to stay in shape, maybe lose 10 lbs.

She is 24, about 5"4ish and maybe 120-125, of course thats a guess, she would never tell. In the last year of so, she is putting on a bit of weight in the hips and but, maybe a tiny bit in the stomach. She has been running/jogging about 2k 3-4 times a week. Also taking a "boxfit" class once or twice a week. Little bit of weights, nothing major.

She is getting down cause she is not seeing much of a difference, if any at all. Her diet is OK, could be better, but nothing that jumps out at you. Maybe a little too much pasta(Italian family) and coffee.

What could she be doing in the gym to help. Not she if I should get her on Thermorexin or Yohimburn.

Any advise would be great.....Sorry for the long post

Diet is 90 percent of the equasion, Have her visit the diet discussion board lots of good info and meal planning there!
Thermorexin will help but if the diet isn't in check the weight will come back, divide the meals into 6 smaller servings thruout the day helps also along with 2 protein shakes.

Sounds like the problem is a combination of too much cardio, not enough weight training and a crappy diet.

Too much cardio and not enough weight training (in combination with a probably carb-heavy, low protein diet) will pretty much drive her metabolism into hybernation. She needs to pay off all the cardio and start weight training more.

Whenever someone says a diet is "OK", especially for a female, it means is is high in carbs (usually starchy), low in protein and fat, and processed. And either very high in calories (processed foods are usually higher in calories) or very low (because so many females LOVE to cut out all calories). lol

Have her post in the Women's Baord - we can steer her in the right diet direction...as well as training. I posted my Cutting Diet there for people's opinions....going to cut for a Figure Show....and it is something she can look at for a sample of a clean diet.

Also, while T-Rex and Yohimburn can help it is just icing on the cake. If her diet sucks and she isn't maximizing training, she will NEVER get the results she wants.

slip her some Anavar, tell her its a new vitamin - worked well for the Chinese Olympic team.

Actually T-rex, lipo-rex, GLA & Gluccorel all would help but good diet is key along with more weights and less cardio.

with the cardio think high intensity , short duration - burns up fat and preserves muscle. think of it like training like a sprinter vs. marathoner - who has the better body ??
