Help: f'd-up injection.

I cannot believe I did this. I realize I'm going to get lot's of shit over this and I know I was careless in a situation that doesn't allow for much lattitude...

So I am basically 90% done injecting my EQ/Enan and I look over at the counter and I think, "did I swab that vial of EQ first???" I remember drawing from the EQ, I remember swabbing the Enan then drawing, then i switched needles. But I cannot remember if I swabbed the EQ. Fuk!

So now I have contaminated 7ml of EQ and 7ml of Enan and my ass.

I'm thinking of just taking Cipro for a couple of weeks as a precaution. That should prevent infection. How do I salvage the EQ and Enan? I read about "cooking" by heating to 255F for 15min, cooling completely, then reheating to 255F a second time. Will that work to sterlize the two? Will I damage either product by doing this?

Bro, I think you're a bit paranoid. Not to say it's the safest thing ever, but I swab about once every 7 injections. Don't even worry about it, just go on with life. The chances your gear is contaminted are almost zero.

Yes I am paranoid! This has been a problem for the past 32 years. Are you serious once every 7 times? I'm a little less worried now...

i doubt its all contaminated. however if your careless everytime, then it would increase your chances of getting an infection and/or contaminating your gear. if your really worried you could bake it.

Bro, absolutely. Hell, I can't remember the last time I swabbed all my vials. I guess if you know what you're doing and where your gear's been, it's not such a big deal. It also depends on what kind of gear it is. One benefit of some of the high-BA gear is that it's not going to contaminate very easily. You're gonna be fine. Your gear's gonna be fine. Just calm down, keep eating, and keep growing. Oh, and do your cardio.

I dont think I have ever not swabbed a vial. However, assuming that you have swabbed them in the past and do occasionally and have them stored in a nice dry spot and arent rubbing your hands all over the septum then there should be little reason for bacteria to collect and grow there. Im sure your fine.
