HELP-Dosing after reconstitution

Hi, Im on HRT getting Test-E, Deca, HCG, and GH. My first vial of GH ran out, and Im almost out of my HCG, so reconstituted the GH this morning and will do HCG in a few days.

5.8 GH....after reconstituting its 5mg/mL concentration. Now how do I break this down into 4iu a day with a slin pin?

The gear is easy, the GH and HCG Ill admit Im a newbie and confused about reconstituting, then taking the mg/mL of product, and then figuring out how to measure out iu's in correlation to the numbers on the slin pins? I read a newbie thread on dosing here, but I guess Im an extra dunce in figuring out the math.

A nurse reconstituted the first bottle with 3mL, even though the directions on the package insert say 1mL....they had different brands at the office and I think were out of the cheaper one, so gave me this, but I think they mixed it as if it was the other brand...unless they intentionally make it a way more diluted solution for a particular reason??

I reconstituted it at the company's directions say, so I know its 5mg/mL....yes Im bad with math and cant remember chemistry class and units of measurement...can someone explain to me how as I move forward with GH and HCG how to figure out my doses after reconstitution?

the doctor only marked on the sheet "fill it to the 10 mark"...not even an iu dosage...

Help please

Today is my day to pin my GH and I do not want to mess up...Ive been doing M-F and want to keep it that way and not skip days I normally use it.

I've not prepared my HGH myself. My Dr does.
Each of my pins has 0.4 cc in it and that is one iu.
He gives me 12 pins.
So he is adding enough water to have a total of 4.8 cc to draw from... maybe 5 to account for some loss.

How many mg in the vial?
How many ml did you add?
Did you add exactly how many the DR. told you?

5.8 mg/vial

I added ~1.14mL per the company insert and contacting the company to ask directly, since the slip the nurse gave me was for a different brand of GH they were giving me but when they checked were out...so last minute they switched to this brand/vial. The directions for the other brand say add 3cc/mL of water, when Omnitrope says right on the label, as well their company contact directly told me that, its for 1.14mL to make it 5mg/mL.

Im supposed to be on 2iu a day, and cannot figure out how the heck to make the conversion from 5mg/mL to 2iu daily, using a insulin needle??

5.8mg @ 3mg/iu = 17.4IU's per vial.
If you added 1.14ml = 15.26IU's / mg...
You are makeing a nightmare of this...
You need 2.175ml to have = 8IU's/ml
1/2cc = 4IU's
1/4cc = 2IU's
It is always best to keep it simple!

Thanks...so is it ok 2 days later to add the other mL in to make it easier???

Because they don't understand it, and don't want to look dumb. I am a CFO and I use a spreadsheet to get the numbers right.
oh and the Pharmacists get it.

So true. For the most part, pharmacists know more about drugs and drug interactions then doctors.

Ive heard that about compounding pharmacists...someone in my family is a pharmacist, I didnt even think to ask them about this...as well, as much as I have the health problems and labwork to show it, the perception of my family, friends, and even co-workers to think Im on GH, T Cyp, and HCG...everyone would freak out I was "roiding" and talk about how bad it is, blah blah....thats why I like these forums, no judging...

So if I just reconstituted it yesterday I think, today can I add a mL?

yes adding more water now is fine. have you drawn any out to inject?
That will change the IU/ml ratio...

Nope I didnt draw any out to inject before I added more...just picked up new script, new doctor has me on Ominitrope "Pens 5mg".... .6mg daily dose, how does that sound? Every doctor seems different, and it gets confusing for me to figure out how many IUs I am getting...first doctor did it by needle mark, now this is by .6mg dose daily....he said 7 days a week....since Ive read alot about 5 on 2 off, and even 4 on 2 doses daily, 3 days off, wondering how I should dose this stuff out.....I get two 5mg pens per month per my script.

Test, Deca and GH? You lucky rascal. I wish I could find a doc around here that would just write GH much less Deca. I could really use both. The mention of either around here is like talking about whores at sunday school.

Dude, THAT WAS A HILARIOUS comment!! HAHAHA...where are you located??

I was in a major city on the east coast when my medical problems started...the doctors there looked at my labs, for sure noted my testostone was way low...but their solution was "ah you are kinda young to start anything lets just hope it bounces back"....

Now Im on the West Coast...Ive been to three different doctors, and every single one will easily give you Test if you have low levels, and GH I think is pretty much "you pay you play" because its based on "optimal levels" which who knows if they can sway that how they want...and most places do sell the stuff from their own pharmacy so Im sure they are making a killing....and I can tell why, now that I transferred them to a local retail pharmacy, its in some cases 1/4 of the cost when you look at T, HCG, GH, etc....they bend you over at the doctors office...Test Cyp at a retail pharmacy on a family plan is $69 for 10mL 200mg/mL....the doctors office sold it to me the first go around at $249 or some BS...but at the time when they offered me Test, T3, GH, and HCG on the spot, I wasnt about to tell them to hold off I wanted to price shop, I took the goodies and went to the car feeling like I was a kid on Christmas morning again.

Also, dont know how much it is legit or the risk, but Ive heard people with good luck on the online HRT clinics. Probably cost an arm and a leg, but you can get all these things. Also the big name doctors, you can fly out to their place and show them your labs, and I think they can prescribe for you one year until needing to see you again....so depending on where you live, what major cities are near you, could be a drive for you, or a one day plane trip to see a doctor, get your goodies, and then for a year have scripts....thats if you have the right bloodwork deficiencies. Its a good/bad thing....I wish was labs were not so crappy I can get scripts for this stuff....I was strong and lean my entire life until some serious health problems....never had a problem getting big, strong, or fast, with just training and eating right....now with low thyroid and T, you can diet and train but it just doesnt happen....
